- your character has been asked what their strongest belief is. what do they hold true in their heart of hears? their creed, their mantra?
- post it for all to see in your subject header.

[ She watches his expression, then makes a soft sound in sympathy. ]

It couldn't have been easy, making such a choice. I'm sorry.

[Noah would grow quiet, before gently shaking his head with a soft yet melancholy smile.]

There's nothing to be sorry for, miss. He made his decision, and I.... chose to respect it.

Of course. [ She offers him a quiet smile, but it falters as she watches him. She adjusts her weight, leaning against her stave. ]

If this... is not to presumptuous to ask-- what was his name?
hairetikos: (Elegant huh.)

Clive. Clive Ganelon.

[The name is nostalgic, familiar on his tongue even if he hasn't uttered it in quite some time. Part of it was out of consideration for Hati, and perhaps for himself when he recalls the secret he keeps as per Clive's final request.]

He was a good man.

Clive Ganelon… [ She repeats the name softly, as if committing it to memory. ]

A good man. And a good friend, I presume. [ She inclines her head. ] May he know peace…. And may you carry his goodness on.

He was.

[How odd a feeling it was, receiving comfort from one who hailed from the church with the nature of being a Bloodborne. Then again, this young woman's attire differed from the garb that he was familiar with; That sort of thing seemed to happen in this place more often than not, these chance meetings.

Expression softening, Noah would incline his own head in return.]

Thank you, miss... I'm glad that someone else will now remember him.

[ She'd offer a prayer or rites but-- that would be quite rude, as she knows neither this young man's nor Clive's patron deities. Ophilia knows better than to impose. ]

Of course. [ She nods, and then-- ]

Sister Ophilia Clement. [ Her free hand moves to pluck a patch of her skirts as she dips into a curtsey. ] Or simply Sister, if you prefer. It is a pleasure to meet you, despite these circumstances, Sir...?

[A Sister... He can't help wondering, would Ressa get along with her? Ah, she's curtsying. In return, Noah would draw a leg back just ever so slightly and rest a hand upon his chest before bowing in return.]

Just Noah is fine, Sister. The pleasure is all mine.

[Thank goodness, those etiquette lessons from Cain are paying off after all.]

[ He offers no title to his name which, by itself, isn't uncommon, but the informality is bound is feel different upon her tongue. Nevertheless, his bow betrays a grace few have, and she wonders just where he's learned.

Straightening, she nods. ]

I won't keep you, but... take care. I wish you courage in all the choices you make.

[He wasn't one for formal titles the same way he didn't entirely care for the attire that Empousa had chosen for him to befit his standing as a Bloodborne affiliated with House Bathory. Plain speak, rather than being referred to as a 'Lord' of some sort--It suited him just fine, although the newly ingrained habits from etiquette would likely die hard.]

I've a remarkably free schedule today, so there's no need to worry. Nevertheless.... Thank you. I wish you very much the same, Sister.
