The Corset Meme The corset is a foundation garment designed to shape the wearer's body. It could be innerwear or outerwear, but changes the human figure regardless. It enforces posture. It shrinks the waist and gives a more pronounced hourglass shape to the core area. If worn tightly enough, it can inhibit normal breathing. And yet you've worn one anyway. If you are from a historical setting, it could be the fashion of the time. Maybe you wear it because your partner thinks it looks sexy. It could be involuntary, a tool for bondage and restriction. If you've taken to crossdressing for any reason, it can help you attain the illusion of femininity. Perhaps it is linked to an enchantment and won't unlace until some magical requirement has been fulfilled. Or maybe you've put it on only to take it off during a slow burlesque. Wearing something different could spice up even the most mundane settings. Let's explore how different life becomes once we lace up and cinch ourselves in.

While she may sound mean, it's really her way of affectionately giving him a hard time.

[Alright. There's a lot of questions that Lugo has to begin with. The first of which being: "Where the hell am I?"

This is a very important question because the last thing he remembers is being out in the middle of a Desert. Shooting at people. And being shot at, don't forget that. But that's really not something he's too worried about now. He doesn't even have a weapon.

And that's the second question. "Where is my gun?" Again, a very good question. When you're a operative for Delta, the ARMY's tier-one counter-terrorism unit, well, you ought to be packing if you're in a situation like this. Considering that he is not, Lugo's starting to get very, very worried.

And here's the icing on the cake. John Lugo would expect that, had he been captured by insurgents or something to that effect, he would be tied up, disarmed, and probably gagged in front of a camera. Maybe he'd be tortured for information. Something standard like that... but no. This is not standard. Which leads to the most important question:]

What the hell am I wearing?

[These are definitely not his ACUs. He's wearing some sort of skinny jeans - which actually accentuate just how long and lean his legs are, maybe what look like cowboy boots... and this thing. It's... a corset, maybe? Pulled so tight that his waist now has the smooth lines of an hourglass.

It's hard as hell to breathe and his back is straight as a rail. He reaches back, hopefully in order to pick at the lacing, but can't quite reach.]

If Bruce had really been the playboy he pretended to be, when he undressed her with his eyes he wouldn't have noticed the two guns she was concealing - and if River had been the escort she was pretending to be, she wouldn't have noticed him noticing them. He was very good, and it took only the merest fraction of a second of his eyes lingering, but he'd definitely noticed them. But his words and gestures were casual as he offered his arm. "Shall we go in? And don't worry about that story in the papers. I'm sure the security has everything under control." If it did he had a bridge to sell. Come to think of it he owned the Brooklyn Bridge, but that was neither here nor there.
