You've been suddenly cursed with an affliction! The powers that be in the world have decided to make it so that everyone in the world has a limited amount of words. You have a specific amount you can speak per day, which is awarded by how useful you're judged to be.

💬 Once you're out, you're out, you can't talk until midnight. Of course, there are ways to gain more...

💬 You can convince some hapless sap to give you some of their own or trade services. You can even sell... whatever someone is willing to buy.

💬 Words also happens to be the currency used. Which means that depending on how they were judged, the poor might now be the rich and vica versa. But be careful - you do have a limit, after all!

💬 This can be done as texting or prose - becoming mute doesn't mean you can't text. Any written word stays intact.

Prompts:

1) Pleading: You're out, you need help. What are you willing to do for it?

2) Rebellion: You've decided to fight back, who's deciding all this, anyway? Will it be a big display or something little?

3) Coercing: You're ready to hand over a word or two. What do you expect in exchange?

4) Virtue Signalling: You don't really care about all this, but it looks nice to pretend. Can you pull it off?

5) Poor to Rich: You've gone up in the world. Will you go hog on it or be conservative?

6) Rich to Poor: Well damn, you have a lot of cold hard cash, but that means nothing now. What do?

7) Pacifism: Look, there's other ways to help. You've got a peaceful idea and you're going to use it.

((On one hand, it'd be funny to play this smug, rich brat as suddenly poor, on the other hand, he is a quiet loner by nature, so he'll happily just... not talk. Great excuse! Probably walks around with a notebook to scribble on or just type on his Xtransciever (like a smartwatch!), but the latter's a pain.

Maybe he will hand over words to get others to do things for him?

On the flip side, he's so pedantic and has such a chip on his shoulder, you probably could get ranted at if you commited the crimes of being Wrong or, in some manner, treated him like a kid. He'd be so offended! He's not super useful, though, so he could probably run out fast...))
