mind your Ps and Qs

A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION

YOU MAY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY - OR YOU MAY NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU'RE NOW PASSING THE TIME ASKING EACH OTHER QUESTIONS. IT'S A GAME! A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION. YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.

How to play -
1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preference.
2. If you want, leave a question in the comment field that your character is asking their opponent. Or don't. I'm not the cops.
3. Pick other characters to question and have fun!

You know, it's hard to imagine, but I think the first time I went to see a band play live? Just being that submerged in music was revolutionary. What would it be for you?

That is the best answer I have gotten yet. For me... I think it would be the first time I traveled somewhere of my own choice, merely because I felt like it.

Do you remember what band you saw the first time?

I am not above celebrating that as a win. That sounds like it must have been nice. Do you mind if I ask where you went?

My mother took me to see a Beach Boys cover band. I was like nine when we went, and I remember them being just...surprisingly good? They were called the Good Hibernations because half the members were hunters.

Iceland, to see the Northern Lights.

The Beach Boys. They have that weird song about Santa?
Good Hibernations is a good name. [Even if she only half gets the joke, at present.]

Oh, I bet that was incredible. I used to be able to see them faintly sometimes where I grew up, but they look like they're just breathtaking in Iceland. Do you have somewhere you'd like to go next?

They have a whole Christmas album! But I think you mean Little Saint Nick. Surf rock is a...weird combination with holiday tunes.

I had never seen that much beauty all at once before that.
Actually I think I would like to go back there, but with company this time.

I will have to look that up. It is very unique, yes. But you do have to give them credit for not shying away from that.

It seems like something that might strike that same "wonder of the cosmos" chord. I hope you get to go back. There's a hotel or a hostel there where the rooms all have one giant glass wall. Might be nice for aurora spotting.

It's a decent Christmas album. I like their not holiday music better. Pet Sounds is a fantastic album. I think they deserve credit for not shying away from it. They're all very skilled musicians.

Thank you. I will look for that place.

Okay. I will listen to Pet Sounds and then the Christmas one.
