( it's always satisfying sparring with him. there's plenty to learn, and it's inevitable that her opponents would lean mostly towards the larger and stronger when she's got the physique that she does. she has to parry and deflect more because blocking a strike from him outright might just snap her sword in half, and if she were any more lax with her stances he'd assuredly knock her off balance. he's an experienced fighter and she's not going to take it easy just because he can't see as well as she does. that'd be doing him a disservice.
he is every bit the challenge she refuses to give any less than her all, relentless in how she follows like a hound set on a hunt -
