The Court of Lust

One place: a country shrouded by mystery. It is a microcosm all its own, peaked with mountains high and frosty and temperate valleys with plains to grow crops...or build sprawling metropolises. In many ways, this country is cut off from others and steeped in its own longstanding traditions and culture. In other ways, it's on the cutting edge, with strange new ways making themselves at home and surprising those who are unfamiliar with them. In fact, this country as a whole can be fairly chilly to outsiders, but those with something to offer can find themselves at home. Still, it might be a bit hard to fit in, as the culture is often described as "very repressed."

Except, of course, in certain places where this repression bursts at the seams, and there are pockets of uncontrollable indulgence.

One place this is, yes, yet you might find yourself a bit displaced in time depending on where you step. One thing is for certain, though: where you are is opulent, filled with sex, drugs, and attempts at control.
