[That morning, Sae wakes up sore but in all the pleasant ways that matter. Sunlight pours in through the curtains, brushing across her face, making her tilt her face away to try and avoid the brightness of it. She lets out a small chirp of complaint and rolls over, instinctively seeking the warmth beside her. Her hand brushes against something hairy and it's enough to make her pause. Sleepily, she sits up, the covers slipping from her nude body. Sae glances down, first at herself, then at the man sprawled beside her, fast asleep. She blinks once. Twice. Something gleaming catches her eye and she glances down to her hand.

It's a ring, quite a stunning one actually; It a vibrant shade of blue and shimmers like water when the sunlight hits it just right. She frowns, heart skipping a beat. I didn't have this on last night is her internal worried thought. Her gaze shifts back to the man, taking in his appearance, even if it was just the back of him. His hand lies loosely curled on the bed, and she could see the same ring visible on his.]

Um.. [It was still not quite processing just yet. Her eyes flicker over the room, taking in the simplicity of it. Was she at an inn? The tiny black wings resting on her back rustle nervously, Sae reaching to rub at her face. A scroll of paper next to the bed has her swiping at it. She unrolls it, letting her eyes sleepily look over the printed text on it. She was skimming it, really. Her name at the bottom has her pausing yet again, especially when she notices a last name attached to her name that never had one to begin with. Altogether, it read: Sae Alberich, along with the name of the sleeping man beside her. Her eyes read the bold letters at the very top that say, MARRIAGE.] ..Oh. [She lets the marriage certificate drop to her lap, unsure of what to do now. What a great way to start the weekend!]

[ It's becoming a little too familiar, the haze of waking somewhere she has to puzzle together with her eyes closed, unable to completely trust her memories, unable to recall much at all. Nothing else seems amiss, all of the aforementioned considered, not even her sprawled perch on what she's almost certain is a velvet armchair. Until she opens her eyes.

She's never seen this room before. She's barely seeing it now, thick curtains pulled tight, pervasive sunlight prying at the edges, and it takes too long to adjust to the spectacle, between her headache and and the creeping dread that she's far from where she was last night.

The room is a mess, towels, shoes, clothes scattered everywhere, a pile of tulle in the center of the room, enough roses to have once been a bouquet lie scattered, garish satin sheets on the floor even more than the bed...

Frankly, she's afraid to move. Is this what sleep paralysis feels like? ]
