Roll out a futon. Open up the couch-bed. Find all those extra blankets, because one character is crashing at another character's house for the night!

UNEXPECTED ✧ one character stays the night to keep an eye on the other after something traumatic and they end up having comfort sex.
CONSOLE ✧ [ character one ] asks [ character two ] to stay the night because they don’t want to be alone and they end up cuddling.
ACCIDENT ✧ [ character one ] winds up staying at [ character two ]’s house all night because [ character two ] fell asleep against them/in their lap and they didn’t have the heart to wake them.
STAY ✧ [ character one ] is carrying [ character two ] to bed because they fell asleep somewhere else but when they start to walk away, [ character two ] grabs their hand so [ character one ] joins them in bed.

TIRED ✧ [ character two ] cries themselves to sleep in [ character one ]’s arms.

( He can’t tell what’s worse, the unforgiving nature of blizzards burying all life around him or a storm lashing out against the stained windows of Northland Bank. Such is the force that even water is seeping beneath double doors and onto shiny tiles. Only a few lights remain lit at this late hour, though, yet they gleam outward like a dim beacon of hope to those unfortunate enough who might be on the other side. Fontaine isn’t cold by his standards, but he supposes the weather is a little chilly. Alpine crisp like the Snezhnayan springs.

He misses it already, the comfort of his home by the fireplace, but he would rather not make himself known to his colleague. His work here is independent from their… Collaboration.

After he begrudgingly puts down his paperwork to assess the leak closer, he realizes he’s not alone. He sighs rather briskly under his breath and frowns, taking a few seconds to deliver his decision and allow his shiny shoes to walk over the pooling water by the door.
Every piece of clothing on him is finely crafted by the best and sourced from the rarest materials or beasts. Even his glasses, the dangling chain and every gem shine with pure royalty. Maybe it’s not so shocking that someone like him is the one opening the door. The sudden surge of torrential currents breaks further into the property, parting between a slimmer coat than the one he usually wears. Though that other coat can be found hanging on a wall by the front desk. )

Make haste, you don’t want to wait for the next flood to claim us both, would you? Come in.

[ warnings. freddie's a former-military, 33-year-old lapsed catholic commercial pilot who has spent the past 4 months skating under the radar with severe undiagnosed bulimia. he's friendly, genuinely kind, and can be fun to be around, but he has some serious commitment/intimacy issues stemming from the parental divorce that made him a devout atheist at age 7 and getting cheated on during his first deployment ten years ago that have left him chronically incapable of attaining the intimacy he craves. instead he just chases it with a life full of hookups, which he consistently self-sabotages by ghosting or calling it off after two or three meetings before he actually gets the kind of affection he's seeking. despite his poor body image and repressed feelings of inadequacy, he gives the impression of someone confident and in-control - when in reality he spends each day feeling like he's holding on by his fingernails.

this whole meme is literally just different iterations of freddie lavoie's personal nightmare scenario and i am so here for it. make him squirm!! he does NOT want to spend the night with someone and he sure as shit doesn't want another person sleeping in his apartment, but he's pretty good at pretending to be a gracious host.
