① comment with your character. ② repliers queue up a text (or two or three to choose from) that they typed up, but never sent. ③ only they fat-fingered and set them flying out of the outbox into infamy. ④ it's two in the morning jfc why are you asking me if i'd love you if you were a worm? no, i don't think my little pony is a metaphor for communism. go to sleep. check out theunsentproject if you'd like more serious ideas. |

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Nah.

Once again I'm the underdog.
no subject
Thai?
Lucky can teach you the ropes.
no subject
I feel my life would honestly be a lot better if I did let Lucky be my life coach.
no subject
I would still rather check if its okay to come over instead of walking into an office thats super busy and making your day harder.
Maybe he should be your service dog, after all.
no subject
He'd never want to leave you. He and I can just be pals.
no subject
Next time I need to hide from Sandra I'll call for assylum in your office.
[The woman was an amazing assistant but also an actual demon.]
You can dogsit from time to time.
I promise to bath him first.
no subject
What if he starts associating me with baths? He hates baths.
no subject
Maybe he'll start looking forward to having a bath if he knows he is seeing you after.
no subject
You know he'd start trying to shower with you, then.
no subject
I watched your movie, btw.
And maybe if I tell him that we're seeing the Nelsons again then he'll start jujmping straight into the pool.
no subject
What movie? Oh, The Land Before Time? I apologize in advance for that. I honestly only remember the barest details from it, so it might not have aged well.
I have to admit, him with the kids was adorable. The kids in general were great to see again.
no subject
That's the one. And I hate you now. It aged perfectly, I just didn't expect to cry so much during the damn thing. Like, I'm talking about ugly crying, Matt.
Everyone was so incredibly nice. I know that I've already said this, but thank you so much for inviting me to come along.
no subject
Oh. Yeah, I guess it was kind of sad. I liked those sorts of stories as a kid. All Dogs Go to Heaven is a tearjerker, too.
Thank you for coming. It meant a lot to them. And to me. ... I guess a part of me just spends time with the kids and thinks if I'll ever get to do that with my own.
no subject
I don't know if I can watch that one with Lucky, I worried him enough this time.
...
It meant a lot to be invited, Foggy's family is amazing.
Why are you talking about it as if it was a super crazy concept? It's totally going to happen for you, Matt.
no subject
Was he licking and looking after his mama?
Yeah. Yeah, it still might. Someday. Just... Heather and I talked about it, so. You know. Little disappointing.
no subject
You bet he did. He pretty much crawled over my lap, almost as if he was trying to keep me from looking at the screen.
Hugging him was therapeutic.
.... Oh.
Yeah, I get it.
I never though you two were, you know, looking so ahead and stuff.
no subject
He really is the best boy. I'm glad he was there for you. Give him a kiss for me. On the head.
Well, names weren't picked out or anything, but we both knew that the other wanted kids.
no subject
I already did. But I will again and let him know it was because you asked.
I can't imagine what it must be like actually having that conversation. You know, like looking ahead.
I only did that once out of a scare.
no subject
Good. I can't let him forget me.
When you get to be a certain age and it's looking like it might get serious, it's pretty common. Get the baseline questions out of the way so if you're not on the same page you can move along faster since there's less time to waste.
no subject
As if anyone could actually forget you.
So, you have like a pre-made list of things you get out of the way? XD
You make it sound like an actual market.
no subject
I hope I'm memorable for more than my embarrassing moments.
It's not entirely unlike that at times. It's practical though if you're getting serious to know if there are any real dealbreakers on the table. If Heather hadn't wanted kids ever, why would we have wasted one another's time?
no subject
Matt, I can't think of a single embarrassing --
Ok, scratch that, I can.
Still, there's other memorable things about you if that helps?
No, yeah, I get the concept. It makes sense.
It's just kinda crazy that we plan all these things ahead and try to find logic and then we fall in love with people that are not worth it or make things super complicated.
Like, to me it actually means something when it feels easy.
no subject
See?!
It helps a little. Depending on the memories on either end.
That's the thing, Kate. Sometimes it is easy... until it isn't.
no subject
You sure didn't when you grabbed my ass.
Right. As if you didn't know you're a super likeable guy.
Or pretty scary late at night.
... how are you holding up? Anything I can do to help?
[Funny how sometimes you meet a person that makes everything feel so simply, how he changes your world and makes it all better. And at the same time things feel impossible with him and so, so very complicated.]
