[[I have a idea in mind that Bucky (either as Bucky or as the Winter Soldier, dealer's choice) might have been told that Bethan is a danger to the public and needs to be tracked or taken down? Which isn't entirely untrue, given that she's an unhinged mess of untreated mental illness who beats criminals nearly to death when she wants to let off steam.

idk they just have enough in common that I think it would be fun. And easy to make them beat each other up.

I don't have a specific prompt in mind, though - depends on who you want to start the violence. If Bucky isn't starting it, then given how paranoid she is, Bethan might well attack him off the bat if she suspects he's following her.

[Ohh, this sounds interesting. Buck, as himself, would absolutely fight back with all he had, but might also try to talk her down in the process if he notices any of that connection in her. If that happens, I can see them both getting battered.

Fight scenes are fun! And both seem pretty damn durable, so it's like two super soldiers. I can do the starter if you want. Buck probably won't start the fight unless she looks like she's about to hurt someone. Do you prefer prose or brackets? Also, I'm good with them pretty much knocking each other half to death. Lol. Buck's used to it. And he finds it easier to reason with someone when you're both too exhausted to stand back up. That work for you?]

It feels like hitwoman!era might be the best bet here, although frankly there's a few of these (16, 16, 37?) that could show up in a kink scene if you'd rather take it that way.

The crack of Bella's head hitting the wall sounds like a bowling ball dropped on the floor of a church: loud, hard, and incongruous. She slides towards the floor, skull ringing, scrabbling for balance. There's a knife in her boot if she can just get her hand on it.

This was not supposed to end up in a brawl.

Taking jobs in New York is always a mixed bag, in Bella's calculus. The pay tends to be better than out in Iron City, and the politics are less likely to ricochet back onto her since it isn't her home ground. On the other hand, because it isn't home, she doesn't know the lay of the land quite as well, and has to rely on her contacts here to give her good information.

If she gets out of this alive, she's going to Joey Espinoza's place to ask him some pointed questions about his so-called good information. Because she's got a bad feeling that Knox's crew sent her after this "nobody vigilante" without an accurate rundown. Got a bad feeling that maybe they haven't cut ties with the Iron City coke runners as thoroughly as Joey claimed. Got a bad feeling that maybe she's been set the fuck up.

This was always going to end up in a brawl. Not just because everything Bethan does, sooner or later, ends up in a brawl, but because anyone who's on her trail is someone who Bethan needs to get off her trail, fast. Otherwise, she can't go home, can't take off her helmet, can't make any kind of fucking move.

So. This fucking woman needs to go to the hospital, before one of them goes to the morgue.

She sees Bella's hand moving towards her boot, and it's not hard to guess what she's reaching for. Bethan isn't armed - when the Bandit uses weapons, he generally prefers to use other people's, it's called proportionality - but, for now, she has the upper hand. It won't last, but for as long as she can, she needs to press the advantage.

Get the hand out of the way, first. Before whatever weapon the woman's reaching for comes out.

The Bandit's face is invisible behind the mirrored visor, but the low grunts of effort are still audible, warped by the voice-changer duct taped inside that motorcycle helmet. She grabs for the woman's hair with one gloved hand, for her wrist with the other, kicking at the side of her knee for good measure.

"Who the fuck are you?" It isn't a man's voice, exactly, but it isn't hers either. It's low and gravelly and clearly artificial, and if it sounds like anyone, it sounds like a bad Batman impression.
