Believe it or not, I go on a lot of dates. I'm just... People don't want to commit, I think. Why would they? I'm a pilot. I'm never around. They could have someone who is. People get bored when you're not there to meet their needs, and I can't even have a cat. Long-distance relationships don't actually work, and as long as I'm flying across the country all the time, that's basically what it would be.

...Not really a complaint or anything. I'm not actually looking for anything serious, myself. There's nothing wrong with just having fun as long as everyone's onboard.

Oh, I don't know. I get the impression many people find me endearing. Sometimes in a platonic way, which I endorse; sometimes just in that condescending way big folk like to look at gnomes and halflings. Because we're the size of their children, they seem to expect us to be cute and charming and uncomplicated, like some sort of mascot.

Obviously, I'm not a child. But finding someone who's got romantic interest in me is, shall we say, a challenge.
