You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Because I want to make a difference, I want to help people. Might sound simple, and it kinda is. I've always wanted to be that person though, that people can count on like that.

I don't think it sounds simple at all, but it is admirable of you. Rare to find people that really mean that sort of thing.

Lorna it is. If you ever change your mind, just let me know. I think it's really cool that you get to choose your name. I don't know what it's like being a mutant, I'm just a normal no-special-powers kinda guy but I think what you can do is pretty amazing.

What's the typical human reaction when you tell someone you've got powers?

Those fit somehow. I like the monster action movies. Jurassic Park and The Descent. Does the Cabin in the Woods count? [ maybe she just likes movies with action where the monsters nearly win... ]

Ranges from paranoid fear to immediate hate and disgust usually. Mixed with a lot of threats to call the government to take us in immediately just for using our powers to do anything.

Even if that anything is just opening a door while my hands are full

No way is Jurassic Park a cheesy action movie, it's amazing, and the other two are just badass fun movies. Those are all decent selections. Mine were more along the lines of laughable choices, but I still stand by them.

Really? That's lame. Unfortunately people can be like that, especially when confronted with something they don't understand. Sorry you have to deal with that, though.

Maybe I've got better taste in movies than I thought. You can't deny some of the lines in Jurassic Park are cheesy. Might have to admit I can't remember if I've seen Bad Boys 2.

If you haven't seen Bad Boys 2, I'd recommend getting a little, or maybe a lot drunk beforehand. It really enhances the experience.

People can really suck, yeah. I hope it does change one day though.

I'm already surprised, in a good way. It's a very quotable movie, so hopefully you come away from the experience with new ways to annoy your friends.

That depends on if he's already seen it or likes those kind of movies. If not, yeah it'll definitely annoy him. Have you got a younger brother?

No. But I do have a kid that's close enough to that at this point. Looks up to me for some reason, made the mistake of following me.

Figure I owe him trying to be a real older sister that annoys him.

I bet he doesn't think of it as a mistake.

Well if you wanna really sell the annoying older sibling thing I think that's a good place to start. Also telling him what to do, in general, teenagers love that.
