TEXTING MEME
You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The Doctor nods. "I'm between companions at the moment," he says as he walks along, "had to drop Ruby off for family stuff and I'm not sure if she'll be back or not."

He grins. "I'll be fine though someone always pops up when I need them."

[captainofinnuendo]

"And sometimes maybe when you don't?" He flashes his famous grin at the Doctor as he leads him into what's labeled as a visitor center but turns out to be anything but as he presses a button and a hidden door opens to the underground space below. "Well, Doctor, welcome to Torchwood."

The Doctor looks around nodding. "Not bad, not bad Harkness," he says, "it's no UNIT but it's nice." He claps his hands. "No what's this problem you need help with?"

[captainofinnuendo]

"UNIT is an international military organization. Torchwood is a secret organization." Torchwood has to be less obvious, hence the underground base.

Jack leads him down some steps into the medical bay. "Namely, it's this. Do you have any idea what that is?" Lying on the exam table is something that looks like nothing but a pile of bright green goo.

The Doctor frowns and pulls out a flat object that makes the familiar sonic screwdriver noise as he scans it. "Where did you find this or was this something else before it turned into goop," he asks poking it gently with a finger.

[captainofinnuendo]

"Your sonic had some work done too, huh." He crosses his arms as he stands and watches the Doctor work. He's learned it's better not to interrupt him when he's in a groove. "It was just lying in the street, giving off a strange signal, so we scooped it up and brought it here."

[sonicseverything]

The Doctor grins. "Oh Jack honey just wait until you see the TARDIS...she's had more work done than even me." He hums thoughtfully. "There is tracking device in this...that's the signal you picked up...but I'm not sure if the goop is sentient or not."

He pokes it gently again "Wakey. wakey...we won't hurt you."

[captainofinnuendo]

"A tracking device? For us to find it, or for someone to find it now we've picked it up?" Did he just unknowingly lead a stranger to the Torchwood base?

[sonicseverything]

"Jack I'm going to ask you a question has any of your team gotten a new neighbor lately..an older woman may be using the last name Flood?"

The Doctor frowns as he pulls out the device.
