A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION

YOU MAY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY - OR YOU MAY NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU'RE NOW PASSING THE TIME ASKING EACH OTHER QUESTIONS. IT'S A GAME! A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION. YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.

How to play -
1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preference.
2. If you want, leave a question in the comment field that your character is asking their opponent. Or don't. I'm not the cops.
3. Pick other characters to question and have fun!

That is a fair point, but what do you do when you have recognized that and you are no longer learning, just beating yourself up over it?

"Let go of it" is the obvious answer, I suppose. If I come up with any advice on how that doesn't sound hopelessly trite I'll let you know.

What is it that you regret?

Yes, how is where I tend to get stuck too.

That is a list that it would take entirely too long to recite. More than half of it, I did not even have control over, but it still... lingers.

Do you feel like you have learned from your mistakes?

I think I have. Some are harder to find a lesson in than others, but...if they can drive me to do better next time, they weren't wasted.

Is a mistake really yours if you didn't have control over making it?

I am a little bit jealous. I feel like I have wasted a lot of things, including this.

Technically, no, I do not think it is, but it is my hands that did it and my mind that remembers it. Does the lesson make you feel better about the mistake in the first place?
