Good thing Shepard already killed the fish, huh?

Man, what the hell did you all let me drink last night? I woke up to Dr. Chakwas waggling her finger at me.

The cleanup, man. Smells better though.

You called it combat juice. I did not let you, you turned into a climber rather than let us take it away. Not really far, mind you, and I am pretty tall.

In retrospect I could have tried harder, yeah.

That's what the filter is for.

Combat juice? What? [ This sounds like a James special. ] Climbed over what?

Wait. Is that what these scratches I got all over are about?

That is not what the filter is for. I can't say it is the opposite of what the filter is for, but I want to.

Crates, pipes. You got around. The scratches might have been the crates? Humans get scratched up pretty easy.

It is. An aquarium filter has three purposes:

1) Mechanically filters waste, dead plant material and detritus out of the water.

2) Circulates the water, oxygenating it.

3) Houses beneficial bacteria that breaks down the harmful byproducts of fish waste (ammonia, nitrite) into harmless forms (nitrate), which also acts as fertilizer for plants.

I guess I finally found a crate when I needed it. My legs are killing me.

You will not convince me with science that the aquarium filter is intended for your fish shaped cracker snacks. I'm a science guy and I am sticking with the spirit of the law.

Your legs are killing you because you were on the crates.

My fish shaped crackers likely crashed the nitrogen cycle. Which would be an issue if there were actual fish in there.

Or because Dr. Chakwas strapped me down to the gurney.

You've got me with Chakwas, she is not always gentle.

Maybe I can convince her to take it easy on me. Eat a dextro cookie, get a stomach ache. Something about that always brings out a more motherly side to her.
