The answer is a spectrum, to my reckoning; fear at first, amusement whilst the empty cups accumulate, and concern in excess.

Nevertheless, fear not, my friend. She is in good care now.
[ And also the recovery position. ] I am prepared to stay at my post until my dawn prayer, though I ask that you keep an ear out if you expect a late night for yourself. :-)

Said like a man with experience in this area. I fear I'm retiring to my bedroll too early by habit and missing all the fun.

Assuming Lae'zel isn't waking any time soon, and Karlach doesn't return deep in her cups and singing loudly about it, I'll rest now and rise with the sun to relieve you for your prayer.

Of course. I was a priest, not long ago.

[ Exactly how big a percentage of a humble servant of the Morninglord's regular duties involve dealing with the excessively intoxicated? More than expected, if you happen to be Sir Godfrey Gwilym. ]

Ah! Of course. Forgive me, I did not mean to impose. I thank you for your concern, Gale, but worry not about relieving me of my duty -- I may reach my Lord anywhere the morning light touches, and I expect that I can touch an unobtrusive corner with dawnlight when it comes. That should be sufficient. :-)

I expect that Karlach will be some help, also. Though I must posit a small request; I do not wish to speak poorly of her whilst she is so incapacitated, but I fear that my handling of the situation left Lae'zel
[ how to put it ] rather displeased.
