This is the third morning within the past two weeks wherein we've been interrupted by meetings that could be been succinctly summarized into e-mail correspondence.
If they insist upon being an inconvenience, it has come to my understanding that passive aggressive gestures in kind tend to be the most effective method in which corporate politics are resolved.
[In other words, he's been listening to a couple of ornery Turks when he definitely shouldn't be. But for what it's worth, he's too professional to actually go traipsing around without pants; he's just incredibly salty that his Angeal time keeps getting interrupted.]
Choosing to attend pointless meetings when I could be relishing in that magnificent body of yours is an immense challenge, Angeal. The very pinnacle of testing my self-discipline, I'd say.
Ummm. Well, you know how you usually help the materia scientists with their stuff? They needed some help today, and since you were busy, I was like, "Hell yeah! I'll help!" Except something definitely blew up and, uh. Scientists are good!!! They didn't get hurt. But I might have a concussion. No biggie!!! :)
Nawww, I'm still here... Turns out, they get real mad when you try to jump off the bed and show them you're fine by doing a bunch of squats. A little dizziness never hurt anybody!
[But doing a whole singular squat and immediately tipping over onto the floor definitely did, Mr. Zack Fair.]
The dizziness itself may not be harmful, but not resting can lead to the dizziness getting worse and not going away. So follow instructions. I'm on my way.

iii. I’m not angry. I’m just... pre-exhausted for whatever you’re about to do.
iv. The wings are bullet proof. Not my body. Stupid.

My friend, you are very good at what you do, but considering the specifics of the consequences is not always your strongest suit.

I don't think they expect any of us to have an actual private life which would suggest optimizing the time they waste for us.
It's frustrating, but probably better that they do not focus on it.

[The only reason he started attending them in the first place is because Angeal asked him to.]
Perhaps I simply haven't tried hard enough to incentivize you.

And that then we'd both have to deal with my being unhappy with myself.
Easier to take what we can have.

You seldom neglect to remind me should temptation take hold.
[And Angeal, in turn, is equally good at incentivizing Sephiroth to behave.]

[ But a thought makes him rather amused, of the star student being the one encouraging skipping school...
And, oh, does he sometimes really want to. ]

[ ... it is a tease. He does not expect anything to distract Sephiroth in battle. ]

Are you still in medical, or did you give them the slip?

Stay put. That's an order.

Boy, oh boy, do I know that tone of voice.
Am I in trouble?

I'm staying put, sheesh.
No squats. No running. 😔
[And then a brief pause before--]
But I'm fiiine!
And it's so BOOORING in here.
You're gonna come rescue me from the boring medical room, right?
