Magical once, but I've more often seen a brief fist fight that was pulled apart rather quickly.
Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness the discussion that started the fight, and the two guests at the centre of it were ushered out soon after it ended.
It's considered deeply impolite to start a fight at a formal gathering, such behaviour is never tolerated and those causing it are dealt with promptly.
