As a kid? I think the usual stuff. Monsters under the bed or in my closet. Needles. Still not fond of those.

Needles, really? [He huffs a soft, amused sound at that, shaking his head.] Wouldn't have thought you'd be bothered by that. [He props his chin in his hand, and his elbow rests against his knee.] I don't mind needles.

[He doesn't say why, he thinks it's known well enough around here the kind of person he used to be. It still is. It's just harder to get anything that works to satisfy that particular itch now.]
