[ Lu Feng's peculiar sense of humor remains largely unknown to others—perhaps it's for the best. Only An Zhe has witnessed this side of him during that memorable doll incident. Never did Lu Feng imagine he would encounter the same doll again after relinquishing his position as arbiter. Yet here it is, carrying the doll that looks exactly like him alongside the supplies he wanted to restock before they venture to the Abyss again in their van.

He's taken longer than An Zhe expected. When he returns, he finds the little mushroom bundled in blankets, soundly asleep on their bed. The sight sparks an idea for another prank. Carefully, he places the doll beside An Zhe, then retreats to the other side of the bedroom to hide from the little mushroom's gaze when he wakes from his nap.

Fully aware that he's risking An Zhe acting offended for a day or two, he doesn't back down and simply waits for him to open his eyes. His encounter with the same doll is nothing short of a miracle—ever since reuniting with An Zhe, the little mushroom has shown him time and again that miracles exist. Even as a prank prop, the doll reminds him of the care An Zhe put into creating it, and he can't stop thinking about his nimble hyphae working on each detail. ]
