Of course. But, from a healer to a helper, you have to know that it's healthy to have them. These... desires. And to give in from time to time. Bottling up leads to repression, which leads to stress in the body. There's nothing untoward or unhealthy about enjoying oneself.

I don't know what he does or does not feel. But I would be shocked if he had given his own life very much thought at all until very recently.

My admiration and no small amount of attraction will be there still when he finds the time to reflect.

For what it's worth, I've found it doesn't hurt to be straightforward with things like this. Some people make up all manner of instances and facts in their mind without bothering to see if any of them are true. Perhaps he doesn't know of your affections, or that they're directed at him. Men especially, I've found, are terrible at being aware of other men being attracted to them.

Obviously he would not. I have not told him. The time was not right when I realized it in myself. But time is something I have more of than most.

With his quest completed, there will be opportunities to speak amorously with him.

Darling, you're missing a very obvious part of this that begs you to hasten yourself. You have all the time in the world. This man, I'm going to guess is human, as there aren't many Thayans around, nor ones that would inspire lust, is a man, yes? Mortal? They age so quickly in comparison. And the older they get, the more inclined they are to not want to deviate from their norm. Voice your desires and let him take the time to mull them over.

I've found in my long years that there is never a perfect time for anything. The time it occurs is the right time. Mortals plan and the gods laugh, dove. Take what chances you can while they're still there.
