( cut her some slack! she's trying to quickly come to terms with the fact that gods use cell phones and dress like hobos. )
oh, that's true. . . so, do you like. ( finger twirls a blonde pigtail around her finger. ) have different rates depending on how complicated the wish is?
[Okay, y'know what? Fair. It is a lot to wrap one's head around when you're not expecting it!]
Nope, it's a flat rate no matter what type of wish it is. I feel that's only fair. Besides, it's not the money that's important, but the faith behind it.
me, pretending like i know nothing about noragami when it is, in fact, one of my faves
It depends. Sometimes it's more like in their mind, someone else performs the deeds I do. Like a close friend or coworker or classmate. But other times, yeah, all they know is that things are the way they want it to be.
I mean, they remember me for a time, but then I fade from their consciousness.
[It's even more lonely for him given his specific circumstances, but... he's not going into that. He's not the sort to have pity parties over his past.]
Huh?
[That... that gets him turning red, a look of bewilderment on his face. It's rare that anybody cares about remembering him.]
Y-You don't have to do that... I mean, though I wouldn't mind fulfilling whatever wishes you have... Since that's my job and all!
( being alone and being ignored are sensitive topics for her. plus. . . he seems like a good person [god], which is all the more reason why ann doesn't want to forget him. )
i'm going to. ( or she's going to try. a million wishes is a lot. maybe if there were that many types of cake. . . no, focus. she digs through her purse. )
[This is why he loves humans... There's so many good ones out there, far outweighing the bad in his mind. She seems a bit like Hiyori in some ways.]
Hehe... In that case, it'll be my pleasure. [If she's really got a million wishes, that'll keep him busy for a long time. But it'd be worth it to have someone who consistently remembers who he is. Repeat customers are so rare.]
It's a whopping... five yen! Think you can afford it~?
[All the same, he takes the coin carefully, folding it in the palm of his hand.]
With that much I could actually afford to build myself a full-sized shrine! That's my goal, to one day have a shrine like the more well-known gods, so people will have an easier time remembering me.

. . . are you being serious, or are you pulling my leg.

you. . . deliver wishes?
no subject
That's right! If you ever need help or are in trouble, then people call my phone number and I arrive lickity-split! I charge fair rates, too~
no subject
( this is the complete opposite of what ann expected a god to be like. )
people call your phone to ask you to grant wishes. . . and you charge them?
no subject
[He sounds mildly offended that she'd think they're free.]
My rates are very affordable, though!

wait. ( x2 )
so, you just do things for people but then they like. . . forget you when you leave? their wish comes true but they don't know why?
ahhh someone who knows Noragami! that makes me happy hehe
I mean, they remember me for a time, but then I fade from their consciousness.
i love noragami ! i wrote hiyori once upon a time
well. well!
{ hands on her hips. )
i'm just going to have to ask for a million wishes so i won't forget you then. ( small huff. )
oh man, that's awesome! Noragami players are so rare;;
Huh?
[That... that gets him turning red, a look of bewilderment on his face. It's rare that anybody cares about remembering him.]

. . . what.
( FIVE YEN? )
no subject
[Though it'll probably come as no shock that he's not making much money that way...]
no subject
you're a good guy, yato.
( there is no way he's making money from this. she holds out the five yen. )
and five times a million is like. ( a Very Long pause. ) well, it's a big number.

when you do i'll make sure to pray at it every day.
( okay, okay — she actually has to think of a wish. )
uhm. . . do gods eat?
no subject
Hehe, I look forward to seeing you there!
[Still all smiles, he nods.]
We don't need to, but we like to. Nothing beats having a beer and a snack after a long day!
