After a string of bad boyfriends and at the age of 33, Rachel had finally given up trying to find a decent man to marry and have babies with. Emma was going to be four in May and after keeping almost all of her baby clothes, she finally decided to let them go and give them away to a shelter where she knew they would go to good use.

With the day off and Emma in pre-school, she walked into the shelter with several big bags of little girl clothes, looking for someone there in charge.
