[The blindfold was absolute in robbing one of their vision. The room had the reek of standing mineral water and old sweat. Night or day might have been hard to tell. Hours or minutes could have passed. A strain might be resulting by now from the handcuff and leg shackles connected to the cold metal chair.]

You could tell me what I want to know and this would be over. The choice is still yours.

You know I don't want to talk. Why go through all of this?

[ She squirms. No. They were too secure. If she did strain to break out she would have to hurt herself. She isn't that desperate to get free just yet.

She can bide her time even if she has no idea how long she has been here. Time has no meaning when she can't see. ]

[Okay, yeah, the only time he was in this much bondage was for fun reasons, not because a weirdo was trying to fear factor him into answering questions. And sure, he would love to stretch his arms and the lack of vision was less than pleasing, but he had no intention of giving any information away.

Besides, he was trained in the arts of resisting torture.]

[This man was clever to be able to capture the Sword Princess, Karla would give him that. But she couldn't help but wonder what he wanted from her. She tilted her head in response to his voice, sitting as still as could be. Squirming hadn't helped, and now her body was sore from it.]

[The blindfold had made things harder from the beginning. Giles didn't have good eyesight as it was, and being robbed of it entirely always shook him even when he wasn't in a very bad situation.

He had a good sense of time. Counting the seconds, the minutes, was a good way to keep calm, and that was what he'd been doing before Wesker spoke.

Giles is quiet for several long seconds, gathering himself. But when he speaks, his voice is quiet, but still steady.]

My choice is the same as it was when you asked me three hours ago.

[ She just shakes her head. She doesn't want to talk about it. No one believed her before. No one actually did anything. ]

[ Of course it matters. She just assumes the worst is going to happen. ]

[Sherlock is hardly the sort to attempt headbutting, anyway, but he doesn't miss the attempt to be more personal, while still keeping safe. Most interrogators, professional or otherwise, would attempt to make themselves look bigger or more threatening. It's harder to ignore someone in your face, harder to concentrate because the closeness is meant to fluster and make the suspect (or victim, what have you) uncomfortable. Some went the route of being more personable first. Will is unused to this situation, out of his element, he's more likely to be non-confrontational first. Never mind the fact that they know each other.

The consulting detective sits back in his chair, one leg crossed over the other, fingers laced, and seemingly entirely unconcerned with the situation at hand.] I'm sure you've been filled in. [His gaze finds the wall where he knows Lestrade, Lestrade's superior, and Watson were watching, probably along with Donovan and Anderson (despite the fact Anderson worked on a different floor). His gaze slides back to Will.]

[The whole interrogation thing isn't really his bag, he usually leaves it to folks like Crane or Isley. Their reputations are far more fearsome than his own. Still, beggers can't be choosers.]

[Just some minor destruction on a few buildings after a fight. Minor being quite a lot. It was a miracle that some of them was still standing with those big holes in them. They would either need to be heavily repaired or rebuilt altogether. Still it was nothing with what Byakuran was planning for this city.]

The tears mean nothing. The hysterics mean nothing. She's learned to do those on cue. To act. She has to blend in and to seem completely harmless. Even as she trembles, looking around too frantically to actually make sense of anything -- she takes in everything, works on a plan of escape.

[It isn't the usual place for an interrogation. A fancy restaurant, two courses into a five-course meal, the discreet waiters sliding in and out of view around the dark, private tables.

This one, in particular, is a little retreat from the world. A place of quiet and calm amidst the bustle of a big city.

Or, at least, it was, until Miranda Tate put down her fork and knife... and Talia al Ghul looked across the table at her company.]

[ It's a good thing for her that he's bound not by handcuffs, but by kidou. Toki can manipulate metal, so that would have been useless.

That makes him trying to get out of the bindings that way pretty useless though, and it's not exactly a pleasing thought. Well. He will find a way. Was there anything metal nearby? That hopefully wasn't her glasses.]

[His interrogation methods are rarely gentle, but he knows he has to start off easy enough. There's no physical threat yet, but he's not above doing if he doesn't hear what he wants. Right now he just stands there, a hand sitting on top of a holster and his head canted at a slight angle.]

You're going to tell me where to find it, or we'll start with my boot on your throat, and continue on from there.

[He's stalling for time. Because, really, what else can he do? No morph he's got is going to be fast enough to avoid a bullet through his skull. And he's not exactly in a position where he can make any kind of distraction. So he stares up at his interrogator and tries his best to look like the frightened teenager anyone else would be in this situation.]

[The room is small, just enough for the two to sit and talk quietly. Behind Legolas, the door is left unlocked and he hadn't thought to arm himself while in the safety of the Elvenking's Halls. Even if the other does manage to get around him and out of the room, find which way leads to the gates, they wouldn't open except with the voice of the king himself.]

Perhaps you'll be more cooperative?

[He almost seems bored, the young elf leaning against a wall rather than sitting for the moment and still dressed in dark green clothes and leather armor.]

[Bofur is tired, hungry, and nervous, altogether in no mood for an interrogation. All the dwarves have been separated on arrival, and Bofur can't help but worry for Bombur and Bifur. The spider venom hasn't entirely worn off for any of them yet, after all.
