Deerfish is deerfish.

..It's a pond-dwelling omnivorous fish with cartilage protrusions on its head that vaguely resemble budding antlers. Eats mostly surface-walking insects and smaller fish. Sometimes algae. It has a changing flavor based on what it eats during each season. It's not as tasty for carnivores like me in the winter, when it mostly eats algae. It has some small scales that are tasty when fried in oil.

Apple bread is just as you say. Bread with apple pieces baked in and adorned with either cinnamon or honey drizzle on top.

That's interesting! I don't think we have anything like that where I'm from, with the horns, but there's plenty I don't know about ponds, so I couldn't say for certain...

If you're a carnivore, is it really okay for you to be eating all that vegetable matter? ...I mean, I guess it must be, or you wouldn't do it, but I'd have worried it would make you sick or something...

I'm not an obligate carnivore. I can get by with plenty of vegetable matter. My body simply works best with fish and other meat. I get satisfaction in eating well and with foods I like.

I just can't have chocolate or caffeine. Both are quite poisonous.

An acceptable "poison" however, is grape wine. In heavy moderation, I'm fine.

Gosh... I'd have a pretty hard time if caffeine poisoned me...
Can you have any stimulants at all? [ he's very concerned about this... everyone deserves the numbing thrill of self-medication... ]
