The Captive Meme

Rules

1.  Post your character with name, series, and preferences in the subject heading.
2.  Those that respond are now that character's prisoner using one of the scenarios below or making up one that suits.
3.  Reply.
4. Profit!

This meme may contain dark, triggery, and sexual content.  Please be respectful of each other and communicate preferences clearly.

Scenarios

1.  Crime and Punishment - someone's done a very bad thing and now they're paying for it with their freedom.  Maybe the jailor will be kind, but do you really deserve kindness?

2.  For Science - an alien species, a rare supernatural being, an anomaly that must be studied.  You're a lab rat being poked and prodded for the pursuit of knowledge.  Don't you feel honored?

3.  The Zoo - similar to the science option, but this time you're not being studied but observed and cared for, like a pet but much more expensive.  Maybe some ambitious activists will come try to release you someday.  Until then, try to ignore the tapping on the glass.

4.  For Your Own Good - maybe you'll hurt yourself or others if your captor sets you free.  Maybe you let someone bind you on purpose.  Either way, you aren't resisting captivity.

5.  Behind Enemy Lines - were you caught sneaking into an enemy's fortress, or are you simply playing captive to get inside their base?  Either way, you'd better hope interrogation doesn't last too long.

6.  The Sexy Kind - it's all just fun and games.  Maybe you've come to a pleasure dungeon to relax and let go, or maybe this is a private game between you and your lover.

7.  Master and Slave - someone else owns you, and they don't have to let you go.

He wasn't happy about it, but he'll feel better soon.

[Mikado shrugs his shoulders, goes back to looking. He does, in fact, find the knife, turns it over in his fingers, considering it. He'd been planning on using something less... weaponlike, something more along the lines of what he'd done before. But the switchblade feels nice in his hands.]

He's in a safe place now. We're taking care of him, so he'll be able to join us soon. But you... you won't be hurting anyone again, Izaya-san.

[It's only now that Izaya starts worrying. Still not as much as he probably should be; not nearly that much. But even Mikado is dangerous with a knife in his hand. The boy is nothing if not determined, and those words don't bode well.]

If this is about killing me, you would have been better off doing it while I was unconscious. Do you really think you can look a man in the eyes and kill him, Mikado-kun?

[Still showing no signs of fear in spite of the slight traces of it trying to wrap themselves around his heart, Izaya is pretty sure that's what Mikado plans to do. His reasons for questioning it are different: trying to change Mikado's mind, maybe; hoping to convince him he wanted something else all along.]
totallysane: (soft)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-08-26 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not going to kill you, Izaya-san.

[Mikado puts on his usual nice little smile, then steps back over toward the informant. He kicks at Izaya's legs, to turn him a little, then seats himself on the man's stomach, holding the knife up high, gauging the space between it and Izaya's bound hands. His other hand goes to check the bindings, make sure the tape is still doing its job, that Izaya hasn't wiggled out somehow.]

Well, I will someday. But unless my first aid class has failed me, you shouldn't die from what I'm going to do to you today.
hitorabu: (♝)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-08-26 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[That's not reassuring. That's not reassuring at all - but Izaya is still trying not to give in to that fear.]

Hmm, are you sure about that? If you're going to kill me anyway, it would be safer to do it right away. If you let me live, you may never get the chance.

[In fact, Izaya will make sure he never gets the chance. Not that he's trying to encourage Mikado to kill him after all, but the suggestion is worth it, when it allows him to get that subtle threat in.]
totallysane: (thinky)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-08-28 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
It's possible that will be the case. Given the choice between watching you suffer and just killing you, however, I'll definitely take the suffering.

[Mikado shifts his position a little again, draws in a deep breath.]

All right, there is going to be some blood. We already know this. You're likely going to go into shock, as well, and I have something prepared for that eventuality.

[He smiles, softly, and then raises the knife over one of Izaya's eyes, tilting it as if deciding on an angle.]

Now that I'm sure I'm ready, let's make sure you can't make us suffer for you to watch anymore.

[It's not as if Izaya can find fault in Mikado's reasoning. All present problems aside, he's a smart kid. It's rare to find such caution and intelligence combined in someone who veers more towards the darker side of life. That's what makes him so interesting.

But that is what Mikado wants - his eyes?! For a moment, Izaya wonders how much Mikado knows about him - if the punishment is designed to rob him of his one and only love, rather than just something terrible that happened to pop up in Mikado's head - but, in the end, it doesn't matter. Izaya is not giving up his eyes - his human observation - for anything, let alone to the likes of Mikado.

His hands and feet may be bound, and Mikado may be sitting on him, but that doesn't mean he can't move at all. While he's been docile up to his point - conserving his energy as much as anything - Izaya can't exactly lie still much longer. Suddenly, he bucks, as hard and high as he can, pulling up his knees for a second, even harsher movement. With that, he wiggles and turns. If he can just get Mikado off him, that will be half the battle; if he can get hold of that blade, even with bound hands, it won't be three seconds before he's turned their roles around.]

[Mikado, of course, is ready for that reaction. He's not stupid; well, no, this whole thing is probably fairly stupid. But he's not unprepared. While one hand holds the knife out of Izaya's reach, the other goes to his pocket for another weapon.

Of course, he can't entirely keep himself in the same spot when Izaya is bucking under him like that, but he can move with the older man instead of letting himself be caught off balance. It's a little like what he imagines a rodeo would be like, but also a little like something else, and he finds himself laughing as that thought comes into his head.

If there's a touch of madness in that laugh, it's the man beneath him that pushed him in that direction, so it's only right that Izaya's ears are the only ones he allows the insanity to touch. It's only proper that when Mikado comes up with another weapon - from his pocket - he wields it against the man who taught him that he was capable of evolving into someone who would hurt, would kill.

Mikado brings the needle down clumsily, but that's all right. He's been assured that the drug - an experimental and very dangerous one - will work just fine as long as it gets beneath the skin. Once the plunger has been pushed, he jumps backward, letting Izaya go, the knife still held out of his reach.]

When she sold me that, she said she didn't think I had the balls to use it. I wonder what she'll think if I bring her to meet you, a week from now, a month from now.

[The drug itself should make Izaya's body start to feel heavy and useless pretty quick, though it's not going to turn his mind off. That would be too easy, of course.]
hitorabu: (♗)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-09-02 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[When that needle hits, Izaya is fully expecting to lose consciousness, and he's not sure whether that's better or worse. Probably better for him, though it's a minor advantage when it costs him his eyes. At least it would be some small victory over Mikado's plans, though.

But of course the boy is prepared for that, too. Instead of everything fading to black, Izaya's muscles relax against his will, his body feeling like it's all but melting against the floor. And of course - of course - there is a certain 'she' responsible for that.]

Namie-san...

[Izaya's laugh is brief and hollow, lacking all amusement. He's always expected her to turn against him at some point; that's part of why he hired her, and why he's kept needling her ever since. He'd always hoped to see her when she snapped, hoped to make her snap like she did when they first met. And now... well, now he'll never see her like that again, will he? She gets the last laugh after all. Somehow that's at least a little easier to take than Mikado beating him, even if it's through Namie.]

Always so cruel.

[She should have at least done this herself; she should have cared enough for that.]
totallysane: (dreamy)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-09-05 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[Mikado laughs, softly, then rocks back and forth a little again on Izaya, the movement a strange mix of childish and lewd. No, it's like something Izaya himself would do, in the end.

Perhaps that's why he does it.

He leans down, still holding the knife away just in case, and just looks at Izaya's face for a moment.]

That's right, of course it's all her fault. She put me up to it in the first place, right? There's no way someone like me could evolve this far on my own.

[His lips are pressed together tight, to avoid a laugh, and then he shrugs a shoulder, speaks again in a more normal tone.]

Well, it doesn't matter now. Do try not to - oh wait, you can't move anyway, right? - well, this will probably only hurt for a little while. Until you pass out.

[When he brings the knife to Izaya's eye, it's not a stabbing motion that he uses, nor is it quick and careless. He should have a scalpel for it perhaps, but using a knife he found in Izaya's place is more interesting, really. Still, Mikado's movements are slow and steady, as he starts to carve out one of Izaya's eyes, his expression strangely blank.

It's beautiful, really, to watch the way the eyeball tries to resist the knife, when it presses against a corner. The human body is so resilient. And Mikado himself is weak, but not to weak to add a little more pressure, to reach down with his other hand and move the eyelid aside, press against the eyeball to place it where he needs for continued cutting.

It's beautiful, he thinks, something Izaya himself would appreciate were it happening to anyone else.]

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-09-05 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[That's actually not what Izaya meant at all. On the contrary, he's quite sure that this was Mikado's own idea - the plan to take action, at very least, and possibly the exact details, too. But he doesn't bother saying as much. Why would he say anything at all anymore? It will only let Mikado feel more justified, and possibly even make him lash out in anger. Losing his eyes is bad enough; Izaya doesn't see the point in asking for worse.

It's over. There's nothing he can do, and there's nothing he can say to help his case. The glare he gives Mikado is as steady and cold as the smile he maintains, very carefully and deliberately, even now. The only true outward sign that Izaya is nervous is a cold sweat that's just about started breaking out. He won't say anything. He won't show anything. He won't beg; he won't make a sound. At this point, that's all he has left.

All the same, he's breathing a little faster when that knife starts poking at his eye, and he clenches his jaw that much more tightly. He tries to relax his eyelids, tries not to resist the way Mikado forces them open. Limit the damage; if he can just limit the damage...

It hurts a lot more than he was expecting, somehow, which is probably silly, but life is full of surprises that way. True to his intentions, Izaya doesn't make a sound; the pain is easier to take than the helplessness, anyway. And the helplessness won't last forever, either. He will get back at Mikado; somehow, he will get his revenge.

Blood starts streaming down the side of his face, so warm it's almost comforting, and all the while, Izaya's good eye remains focused on Mikado, glaring, observing, hating, and loving.]
totallysane: (hell no.)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-09-12 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
[He had known it wouldn't be easy. Oh, not just the physical part. Of course, cutting out someone's eyes that you plan to kill immediately is easy; anyone could do that. But Mikado wants Izaya to live, and that makes things a little more complicated. Already he's taking risks using the knife instead of something more sterile, and he could easily accidentally kill the man with shock or infection.

He's got plans for that possibility, of course, but it isn't what he wants. It's quite far from what he wants, now. So he's being very careful, and there's a real physical and intellectual difficulty there; having a steady hand and remembering what he's read about the body.

But.

Doing it while Izaya is watching him like that is the really hard part. He can't help but feel pressure from that gaze, and the man's stony silence just adds to it.

This man is someone he wants to surpass.

But if he trembles under that gaze, it doesn't matter what he takes from Izaya; he's still lost. So Mikado steels himself the best he can, then holds up a bloody lump in front of Izaya's good eye. It hasn't come out intact like it might have if a professional had done it, nor was that really his intention. These eyes are not trophies; he's not going to put them in a jar on his desk or something. He's not the type for that.

Instead, he simply holds it there for a second, showing the information broker, then drops it to the side and brings the knife down toward the single good eye left.]

You're very strong, you know that? I thought you'd be unconscious by now, or in shock. It seems that my source might have underestimated you.
hitorabu: (♗)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-09-12 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[Seeing what's left of his eye isn't as impressive as it should have been. Now that it's no longer a part of him, he really doesn't care about it anymore; it was useful as a tool for observing, but with that use taken from it, Izaya could care less. He's seen worse things in his life, really... and he's trying hard not to think about how this will be the last.]

They're not the only one.

[He's still smiling, his special brand of love all but radiating from him, right at Mikado. This isn't over yet. Even if Mikado takes his eyes, Izaya refuses to be defeated; one way or another, he'll get his revenge. If he has to die getting there, so be it, but on the whole, he'd rather live, even without eyes.

There's no reaction as the knife comes down to cut out his one remaining eye; still, Izaya doesn't make a sound after those simple words, that promise. It's not until the knife digs in, distorting his vision before taking it completely, that a single sound escapes him - something like a hitched breath. A swallowed curse, perhaps; a plea come too late?

It's nothing of the sort. A second sound soon follows the first, and then the dam breaks: Izaya bursts out in laughter. His body paralyzed, his eyes cut out of their sockets, he laughs, the sound growing ever louder and more hysterical until pain and blood loss finally catch up and everything fades into the blackness that Izaya's world has become, his own laughter the last thing that disappears.]

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-09-19 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[It's a relief, really. The mad laughter had been bad enough, but even without it, this would not have been an easy thing. A part of Mikado wonders at what point he started feeling like he couldn't go back on this once he'd made the decision, why it had become a thing he HAD to do. No matter, now. With Izaya unconscious, Mikado can do the things he needs to do, without feeling like he has to keep his calm completely. It's all right if his hands shake a little now, as he cleans and bandages the area. It doesn't matter if he throws up in the bathroom when he goes to wash his hands, or if he shudders as he gets rid of what's left of the tissues that had made up Izaya's eyes.

If he'd been thinking, he would have made sure to cut them out nice, would have severed them properly and sold them. But it's too late for that now.

He goes about his business without fear of Izaya waking up soon, because really there shouldn't be much chance of that. Even if he did, he won't be able to do anything for a while.

When Mikado finally goes to move Izaya, there's a lot of grunting and panting involved, because the man - even light as he is - is a full-grown man and Mikado isn't very strong. Still, he manages it, and when Izaya awakes, he'll find he's in a new position.

Namely: stretched out on his bed, bound now at wrists and ankles, double-secured with both a set of heavy cuffs and leather straps, as if Mikado couldn't decide which to use and chose both. He's been stripped down to his underwear, and there are still bandages on his head, covering the whole area where his eyes had been, carefully shaped around the top of his nose to make sure not to make breathing difficult.

He might be able to tell Mikado's in the room by the sound of his breath and the sound of pages turning in the book Mikado reads - from a chair nearby - as he waits for his captive to wake.]
hitorabu: (♛)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-09-19 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Waking up this time is just as slow, but, with no one to urge him on, a lot more subtle. The first thing that registers is the pain, quite a lot of it, and traces of nausea that may or may not be a side-effect of that pain. All in all, Izaya's had better days.

Mikado has cut out his eyes.

He remembers, but he really can't think about that, can't consider the consequences. One step at a time. Panic and regret have never done anybody any good. There are always solutions; there are always ways to move the pieces that let you win the game. That's what he'll focus on. Sooner or later, he'll get a chance.

It takes a while before he - very carefully - tests his range of movement, not surprised to find he's bound again. At least this is more comfortable. His own bed, or did Mikado take him elsewhere? Not by himself, of course, but he could have gotten help...

There's someone with him, at least, and Izaya may as well try to stay in control, as much as possible. He waits until he thinks he has enough control over his voice before speaking.]

Some water would be nice.

[It's not so much a request as a complaint from a neglected guest.]
totallysane: (soft)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-09-28 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course.

[Mikado moves slowly, taking his time, not jumping or acting startled or upset over his lack of hospitality. He might do that under other circumstances, but he's already thought about Izaya's needs and has some things on hand, so he doesn't feel too bad about not being ready as soon as he woke up.

He comes back after a moment, sits on the edge of the bed, and holds a glass of water up to Izaya's lips. He tips it very slightly, so that there's only a trickle of liquid available, not wanting to drown the man or something.

He speaks even as he offers the first sip.]

I have pain pills right here. You may choose whether you take them or not, Izaya-san, but I would suggest you accept.
hitorabu: (♝)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-09-29 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[It's already annoying, not being able to see what's coming. At least there's the extra weight settling on the bed to give Izaya some idea, but it's not enough to tell him when to open his mouth - all the little things like that. He settles for lightly parting his lips until he feels the glass against them, and drinks cautiously. He wouldn't normally care about getting it right the first time, but this is Mikado; this is the little brat that took his eyes. It feels important to at least pretend that it's no big deal, and that requires a certain level of coping with new challenges.

Of course Izaya is just fine.

Pain pills? Izaya is grateful for the timing of the question, taking his time to consider it as he drinks. He could reject them, but he's really feeling rather terrible, and he doesn't know what else Mikado may have in store for him. Maybe, just this first time... If the pills were something else - something nasty that Mikado wanted him to take - Mikado could have simply forced them down his throat, or administered drugs some other way while Izaya was unconscious. Besides, feeling a little better could work wonders in giving Izaya a chance to escape this predicament.]

I get a choice this time! In that case, I wouldn't dare to offend my host by rejecting his offer.
totallysane: (if you say so)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-10-02 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
You have a lot of choices, from here on out. I won't guarantee they'll be options you like, though. Surely someone like Izaya-san would understand that.

[Mikado is very gentle, however, as he gives Izaya the pills, placing one in his mouth and giving him time to drink before offering another. He doesn't press the second one quite so much, so that the man can refuse it if he likes.

It's true that letting Izaya be clear-headed is dangerous, and he's thought about this very carefully. Even with the man bound to the bed this way, it's not entirely safe, because Izaya's biggest weapons aren't physical ones anyway. Mikado will have to be very careful but perhaps... the danger is part of the fun too.

In fact, just thinking of how dangerous this whole endeavor is has him quite excited.]

I'll give you a couple of days to recover some before we move. I don't want you to die on me, Izaya-san.

[Mikado gently starts to check his 'patient' over, at that, despite the fact that he's the one who put him in this condition. There aren't any serious injuries aside from the obvious one - since Izaya was drugged when he was bound - but he checks anyway just to be sure there's not too much strain anywhere.=
hitorabu: (♗)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-10-03 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[Izaya surely does understand, and he doesn't like that hint of things to come one bit. It's no surprise, but it still rankles, knowing that he won't be able to do much about it - at least, not yet.

Maybe that's part of why he doesn't accept the second pill. One should be more than enough to take the edge off, and a second might well make his brain feel even more clouded than the pain (and possibly the blood loss) is doing.

A couple of days... All right. That's not too bad, for an initial window of opportunity.]

That's one thing, at least, that we can agree on. [Not dying is rather high on his wish list, in fact.] For now, at least...

[Reminding Mikado of his plans to kill Izaya eventually - not that Mikado needs the reminder, probably, but that's part of why Izaya brings it up. Changing Mikado's mind is probably too much to hope for, but possibly throwing him off balance a little would be nice. And if Izaya doesn't manage that, he at least gets the opportunity to show how supremely unworried he is about this whole deal.

Including those touches he can't see coming. Izaya has no problem with those at all, of course, and that's the only reason he puts up with them - or that's the impression he hopes to give, anyway.]
totallysane: (if you say so)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-10-13 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
For now.

[Mikado doesn't flinch from it at all. He's decided on this path, and while he's not entirely sure of certain details yet, he's not going to just change his mind. Of course, depending on how things go...]

I got offered a very large amount of money for you, when I posted that I had information about your whereabouts, through a proxy of course. I wonder if being my pet would be better than being turned over to some of your enemies more experienced in this sort of thing.

[Mikado is honestly curious, thinking about it. He goes from checking the bandages to petting Izaya's head, as if reinforcing that 'pet' claim as he speaks.]
hitorabu: (♟)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-10-16 11:46 am (UTC)(link)
[A pet?! If that's really what Mikado plans to do with him, Izaya would rather be sold to the highest bidder - assuming that death is inevitable in both cases, of course, and that's an assumption Izaya refuses to make just yet, no matter how determined Mikado may be. Izaya would rather be tortured a little and then killed, rather than being forced on his knees either literally or figuratively.

Not to mention that there's a chance, no matter how small, that Awakusu-kai would buy him. Most of its members would rather be rid of Izaya, he's quite sure, but they might still 'save' him, if only to make sure he keeps his mouth shut.

Still, that's all hypothetical. As long as Izaya is alive, there's a chance he'll get out of this alive, and that's what he has to bank on. If he bristles a little at the idea of being turned into a pet, there are no obvious outward signs of it, except perhaps a slight increase of tension in closed lips - and that's gone quickly enough as he speaks.]

If they're offering you so much, so quickly, I'm sure they'd be willing to pay twice as much, if you play your cards right. Ah - not that I'd want to rob you of your latest pet, of course.

[He can't help the trace of distaste in the word, even when his voice is otherwise borderline playful as usual. It might be wiser not to say anything at all, and he knows it, but he also knows that his voice is the only weapon he has right now, and it gives him a strength he sorely needs. He has no eyes, and, that being the case, he'll use any other tool he can.]

You'll forgive my curiosity if I ask you who offered such a princely sum.

[Enemies, Mikado said. Mikado making that assumption rules out a few options already.

Of course Izaya doesn't expect a straight answer, but one never knows. Besides, this isn't the worst kind of conversation topic. After all, while Mikado has him, all Izaya's enemies will be Mikado's enemies, as well.]
totallysane: (if you say so)

[personal profile] totallysane 2013-11-02 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Mikado laughs softly, giving a little shake of his head before realizing that Izaya can't see it. Of course he can't. Mikado held the man's eyes in his own hands, and he's just checked the bandages over the empty sockets. Still, old habits are hard to break.

It makes him laugh again though, a little sheepishly.]

Aoba-kun did, of course, though I'm not sure where he intended to get the funds. But I'm sure you could have guessed that one. Aside from that... there were a couple of people who are in our chat room, but I'm afraid I don't know who they are offline.

[He shifts a little closer, combs his fingers through Izaya's hair gently.]

Of course, I was careful not to say straight out that I had you. It's something to keep in mind for later though. I can't stay and take care of you forever.
hitorabu: (♗)

[personal profile] hitorabu 2013-11-05 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
No doubt Aoba-kun arranged to pool his resources.

[The question is: with whom? It would be hilarious if something like this settled some family feuds, if only temporarily - hilarious, but decidedly bad for Izaya, if Mikado accepts that kind of offer.

Well, it's always possible that Aoba has the money all by himself. Izaya is sure that the boy has many sources of income that Mikado doesn't know about. In which case being sold would still be bad for Izaya, but in very different ways - ways that he can probably handle better, though they'd last a lot longer.

Oh, well. For now, this is frustrating enough. And it's not that Izaya underestimates Mikado as such - Mikado is very dangerous indeed, and Izaya is well aware of that - but he's not expecting Mikado to be pointlessly cruel the way most of Izaya's (other?) enemies would be. Even this is more a desperate attempt to get back control than an intention to hurt, Izaya thinks, and if Mikado happens to have succeeded, that's all very impressive, but still not as worrying as it might have been.]

Ah-ah, you'll make my hair greasy if you keep touching it like that~!

[Childishly chiding - and, just because he can, he wags his finger, far above his head where his hands are tied.]

I doubt I'll be able to wash it for a while, considering what you did to my eyes. And you wouldn't want your pet to look dirty, would you?

[Mikado laughs at Izaya's antics, then brushes his fingers through his hair again, pushing a bit of it behind his ear and then keeping the hand moving, down over his neck now. It's a vague sort of touch, not even really sexual, as if Mikado himself doesn't quite know what he's doing with it.]

Do you think I would let you become dirty? If you're my pet, isn't it my job to take care of those things?

[He pauses.]

I can't wash it with water right away of course, with the bandages, but I did get some dry shampoo to use for now. After that... well, it's important to keep a pet clean. Particularly when one wants to use them in quite personal ways.

[Personal, is it? Little Mikado has moved up in the world... Well, it doesn't make much difference in the end. Slightly more of a bitter aftertaste, perhaps - literally as well as figuratively, most likely - but it's not a shock. Izaya refuses to let it be a shock.

Which is why his smile only widens a fraction at that bit of information, quite deliberately.]

How fortunate for me that I have such an attentive master.

[There's nothing but sweetness in Izaya's voice, but arguably too much of it - perhaps the kind of sweetness one might give a diabetic when intending to do them harm. Sweet as it may be, it's still poison, and Izaya deals out as much of it as he can muster.]

Isn't it?

[Mikado isn't really capable of Izaya's tone. As much as the words he says lately sometimes seem like they might have come straight from the informant's mouth, his own way of speaking is very different. His voice is calm and quiet, lacks that false sweet note.]

We should get some food into you so that those pain pills don't make you feel sick. I'm going to go get it, and then I'll feed you. Don't go anywhere.

[He says it as if Izaya could, despite leaving the informant cuffed to the bed when he goes.]
