① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.


ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.


CRACK.

[Half-dragon meet half demon? Though to be fair, Nelia here's from a world that's half D&D, half Disgaea, so her demon parts aren't that bad. Not that she would ever admit that. Nelia hates all demons and monsters ferociously, but as a paladin, she's bound by her code of conduct to give them aid if they request it. She has demonic powers as well, since she's the Overlord's daughter, but she refuses to use any of them.

She's also pseudo-French, like good food and wine, is a skilled dancer and rider, and can be incredibly cultured when she doesn't. If there's no such place in Saft's world, I can just hand-wave it by saying 'She's from a different Prim Material Plane. Nelia travels a lot hunting her siblings-her father sired one child with everything in all the monster manuals. They didn't call him the Gigolo Overlord for nothing!]

Christine Chamberland

[She is a serving girl most suited to renaissance or medieval times. She is a very intelligent girl and excessively curious, especially in times when women were not expected to know how to read or write. In general, she will do just about anything to work for a master with an extensive library, and will sneak into it to read books about anything at all. Her primary subjects of interest are mathematics or science, and, in addition to that, she has a great deal of curiosity about anything sexual.

In fact, she has a very submissive personality type, and has accepted and internalized that fact about herself. She is only truly happy when she is able to serve, and it does not matter to her whether her master is harsh or benevolent, as long as she is able to satisfy her own curiosities. She is also the sort of girl who will try anything at least once, and enjoys the company of other women just as much as she does that of men.

She is adaptable to any time period, really. In modern times she can be a maid, babysitter, or any such thing, as well as having a capability to be a librarian, lab assistant, or student of anything. Her default age is 19, though that is also variable; a younger Christine will wear glasses and, in modern times, have braces. If she is over sixteen she will have contact lenses. At any age, she is a full-figured, curvy girl with reddish-blonde hair and pale skin.]

Eunjae "Morgan" Bak

[Eunjae is a Korean War veteran, and is very much dead. She was a reservist soldier during the Nokdong Offensive and was killed, but due to some rather strange circumstances she was given a new lease on life. Her body is possessed by a spirit and this sustains her.

It also altered her personality, drastically. She's somewhat spiteful, foul tempered, and foul mouthed. She drinks a good bit, and while not a nihilist she doesn't really have much faith in humanity anymore. Eunjae spent the remaining years of the war (until the cease fire) operating as a guerrilla fighter with several other similarly afflicted. She spent a number of years following the war as a mercenary, though in the late 1990s she immigrated to the United States and assumed the English nickname Morgan.

She's from 2012, though if preferred I can pull her from any time after 1954. I'm generally open to whatever, though I'd prefer a PM before sex-tags]

Sofia Sinclair

[Sofia is a former US Secret Service agent who retired after surviving an attack on the President. The event activated an artifact that has been in her possession since she was a child, giving her superhuman abilities.

After the incident, Sofia was hired by a wealthy woman who runs a group called the Spiral Foundation, a company that holds shares on multiple heavy industries and technology corporations. Thanks to multiple failed research attempts, the companies that are affiliated with the Spiral Foundation have created pathways to other worlds, proving the existence of the multiverse but also letting people from outside worlds enter our own.

With Sofia's powers, she now works for this woman and her corporate friends. Sofia can be cold and quiet at first and when speaking to strangers, but she warms up to people who have earned her respect. For more information, read the tropes page in her journal!]

Olivia "Nala" Saxon

[Nala is a 'former' assassin, picked up and trained by a special group of operatives called the Grimm Units. She grew up a runaway-turned-prostitute named Olivia and so her skillset lies in infiltration, seduction and knives of which she has at least three on her person at all times.

After the entire Grimm thing went south, Nala escaped south and headed down to South America, and spent some time running away from the authorities.

She's good at being undercover, but she's not very good at showing emotions or making friends. She is phenomenal at getting herself into trouble by saying a hundred percent what she thinks, and she doesn't take kindly being condescended to, called a 'little girl' or told what to do.

Earn her loyalty and she'll fight for you to the death]

On paper Yablokov Bajer Enterprises is based out of Monaco, for reasons which may or may not be related to the hilariously low rates of taxation on corporations in that particular nation. Certainly a great deal of their business does go through their official headquarters. And Monte Carlo is an appropriately extravagant venue for entertaining clients, politicians, and anyone else who is particularly easily impressed.

But as their offices go it's actually rather a small one. New York is one of their largest operations, with Moscow not far behind; their office in Singapore is growing rapidly, and Mumbai even more so. In a time of financial crisis they're still on the rise with operations expanding rapidly.

Of course there are still snags. Rio, for example. The men who own the city - corrupt and complacent every one of them, ruling through the habit of learned fear - are not taking kindly to some foreign company muscling in on their territory. And resorting to such underhanded tactics too. It was shocking, really.

It was the sort of thing it was best to deal with personally. Yavka - embroiled in some unrelated business in Tbilisi it was probably best not to inquire too closely about - had passed the details on by way of an extremely cryptic email. He flew out from Johannesburg the same day, slipping on the identity of Radek Bajer like a comfortable old coat worn soft in all the right places. The Czech passport he handed over at customs would also have them believe he's forty-five; a relic of the identity's early days, back when appearing a few years older was essential if he wanted to be taken seriously.

Their building in Rio is a sixty storey gleaming glass and steel construction in Centro, new enough that the scaffolding is still being taken down and the building site around the base has yet to be groomed and landscaped into something more presentable. Inside things are running smoothly, but the staff are nervous in a way which speaks of trouble on the horizon.

That's fine. He likes a challenge.

He's been in Rio for three days when the first attempt on his life is made. It's sloppy bordering on embarrassing; he might almost have taken it for a random attempted mugging if he didn't know any better. The two would-be killers end up in a crumpled heap in a back alley with their own still fully loaded guns clutched in broken fingers and a note saying try harder next time left folded neatly atop them.

By the next night most of the preparations for securing their place in Rio have been set into motion, and he's feeling fairly pleased with himself as he heads back to the hotel - owned by YBE, fingers in many pies is the only way to stay ahead of the game - he's staying in. Enough so that he feels entirely justified in spending a little while at the hotel bar. A celebratory drink never hurt.

The sun has set over Rio as he slides onto a barstool and waves the bartender over. Coincidentally, the mirrored wall along the back of the bar offers an excellent view of the room behind him. It's been a day since the last attempt, after all. Whoever they send after him next will not be so inept as the previous rank amateurs.

[... Pilot is literally what his name suggests. A pilot. More specifically, a spaceship pilot. He and his ship, The Argo, make a living doing salvage runs throughout space, and various colonies. On the side, he's a hunter of legends -- more exactly, the legend of the Source, which supposedly was the site of a phenomenon that granted people in his universe supernatural abilities.]

[He's pretty easygoing, lighthearted, and refuses to take things seriously unless absolutely necessary. Also he loves his ship. A lot.]

Aemilius || ota

[A sentient AI unit used in observation, data-gathering and light combat operations. Linked mind-to-mind with a human pilot, unable to disobey direct commands. Classified as "Stealth Security Capable", meaning light armor, flight-capable, and small weapons. He specializes in hacking and observation.]

[He is also partnered with another "SSC" unit, and is... very. Very close with him. He's the surlier, more antagonistic of the pair. Stands about eight feet tall at the head.]

[Tall as he may be, the woman standing before him is not. Her arms are folded across her chest and for the moment, all she does is stare. It's not exactly a warm stare either. Her gaze falls a little on the critical, calculating side.]

Kieran

[Kieran has that devil may care attitude and typically speaks what's on his mind. He comes off as friendly, easily excitable, and typically laid back to most, but can become angered when something or someone upsets him and will have no problem telling others what's bothering him. If he likes you, he'll let you know. If he hates you, well, he'll let you know about that too. He's reckless, can be impulsive, and likes to pick fights when the mood fits, but usually waits for the other guy to strike first by egging them on. He may also be a little mentally unstable. He has been known to go off into tangents of speech if there's a subject that excites him enough and can ramble. Sometimes he speaks more than he ought to, but that's mostly just bullshit. In fact, it's all bullshit.

Also, Kieran can come back from the dead. Healing, however, doesn't work the same way on him as it would say Wolverine. He can only revive after being killed and any non-fatal injury he gets pretty much heals on a normal level. But Kieran loves his gift of resurrection, he relishes in it, and purposely seeks out ways to die because he's one curious individual who wants the experiences. Well, maybe more like craves it to the point of it being borderline addiction.

Mostly interested in the action/angst prompts but I'm up for any one of them really.]

Les

[A creation of unknown origin, Les is an artificial lifeform with the ability to break physical laws such as gravity...that is when he is not conscious of the act. Les inhabits a world known as the Metro Zones, torn between three social orders: the military, the financial officers, and the detectives. The detectives are enforcers tasked to act as judge, jury, and executioner. Even more strange is the lack of life other than that of humankind.

Les' best friend includes a gruff retired detective, Jackie Orpheus. Out of the two, Les is the more upbeat, if not completely distant-minded. He's less positive and more 'an indifferent airhead'. Les often seems more concerned with trivial, if not imagined affairs than those going on immediately around him, like his bathtub of collected material. It takes some reminding, but Les is pretty close to his friends and an all-around friendly guy.

I'm up for anything, just no sexy times.]

[The sun had set, the last rays of light slowly dwindling and giving way to deep darkness. Most people would be in the safety of their homes at this hour, as the day was done and there was nothing that awaited them in the cold night.]

[There was a few notable exceptions to this, nearly all of them with ill intentions; among them was the white-coated form that crept along alleyways and dimly lit roads, observing all that passed by with a predatory posture.]

[Eventually, she sees her mark -- a young man, carelessly strolling by with buds in his ears and music blaring, all but deaf to the world -- and falls into step behind him. She trails him for one, two, three blocks before clamping her hand over his throat and dragging him into a secluded alleyway.]

[The sounds of her work are muted, but there; muffled screams, the tearing of fabric, and then, at long last, a tense, eerie silence. It's a few moments yet before she strolls out of the alleyway, her hands and coat bloodied.]

[The sun's rays are just beginning to trickle over the horizon, early morning's fog hanging heavy and low over the field to Moritz's right. There's no biting chill to the air so late in summer, but the nights are a bit cooler now and it's that certain stillness one only feels in the absence of heat.

But the white light of the sun will be on his face soon, and Moritz is in any case adorned in many layers. Undershirt, leather armor with metal studding the most vulnerable parts, a tunic over all that... He treks through the woods swiftly but hardly silently, his hard-soled shoes crunching undergrowth with the limited skill of one who has never needed to sneak up on others.

It's about two miles down the road that his whistling slows and then stops. There's a dark shape up ahead, curled under trees to the side, and Moritz wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't been moving. Away from him, or towards the road it was so clearly in hiding of a moment before? He stops and nearly stumbles as he's brought out of his head to focus on the land. Is it a beast or a man?

His sword is an afterthought, but his palm finds its hilt quickly. No more silent than before, Moritz thumps over rapidly, realizing it's quite certainly a fellow person, not a felled deer or a wounded cougar.]

⌠The marshes some five miles or so south from these fields are dank and quiet, and quite peaceful, or so the barkeep at the Dog's Fang back in Doria assured one bard yesterday afternoon. An ideal shortcut to reach Arinan, the biggest trading center this side of Omnthar.

Well, ideal, except for the Banelar that live there and have just spawned some very temperamental and hungry kin.

Who mistook Alastair for dinner.

Being pups, our musical hero got away pretty lucky -- however, there had been five of them. Shame he had to kill three of them, but he left one stunned and threw the last of his rations as a distraction to make a crippled-runaway attempt. Dark and caught in the marsh's lush and stifling grip, he trekked all night to find the plains once again.

Where he is now, he is quite unsure -- but it is open, mostly flat, and there are trees for him to lean against when his filthy gnawed legs ache too much to walk on. He isn't sure if there's dirty water or swamp gunk from the Banelar's mouths caught in the open teeth marks, but it hurts like hell all the same. At least they've stopped bleeding. Stay positive, Alastair.

Half of his belongings are lost to the swamp, thankfully none of the treasures he intended to trade off in Arinan, but basically everything else including the half of his potions that would actually be useful right now.

Thumping, crunching, running approaches him but he hardly notices over the sound of his own tired stumbling through the moist grass. That is, until he hears a voice⌡

Hehh? ⌠Alastair moves as if he meant to whip around to the source of the question, but only his neck cooperates with the command. Eyes narrow under a sheen of wet on his forehead, and it's difficult to tell if it's pond water or sweat.⌡ I...ssss-- I'm fantastic!

⌠Don't be fooled for a second, as he strains through his words and hisses at the feeling of his punctured pants dragging against the open bites, torn sleeves pulling at his swollen forearms. Tyson Battle
