Injured by your own hand or someone else's, you still need help to get you through it. Let's hope someone finds you before it's too late!

1. Stabbed. You were stabbed, maybe multiple times.
2. Shot. You were shot either once or multiple times.

[John lets out a hiss of breath as Sherlock lifts his head. He can see his injuries now. Broken leg, definitely. Broken arm. He moves his unbroken leg, and can feel it as his foot drags against the pavement. That's good, that's something. Concussion, most likely. He can breathe. Also good. Also---

He jerks his head to the side. A noise]

Sherlock. Sherlock, he's coming. You've got to get out of here.

[deduction]

I said stop moving. [He bites the words. If he can't control John's injuries he'll at least make sure John doesn't make them worse. The length of time the call is taking to connect is making him just as irritable.

His head snaps up to follow the sound. Instantly he hangs up and looks back to John.]

John, how bad is the damage to your spine?

I don't know. I haven't lost my diaphram functions and I can move my feet, but---

[oh, no. He looks back to Sherlock.]

No, don't even think about carrying me. You've got to get yourself out of here.

[deduction]

Shut up. [That's all he has to spare for him, he's calculating how long it will take them to reach a safe place.

He shifts slightly, ready to slide his arm under his friend and get him to stand. He keeps his voice low and mostly calm.] Nod when you're ready. We'll stand and I want you to lean on me as much as possible. We're making for the main road. Lestrade is on his way.

[Or he will be, when Sherlock send him a message.]

[oh, but what's the point in arguing with him? If he tries to fight it, then Sherlock will definitely be here when that man shows up. He gives a nod, and then a loud grunt as he gets to his feet. He can feel his right foot, but the broken one is still numb. Bad. Very bad.]
