I told you about my pre-Captaincy reputation around the time we met, which you think would deter people from trying to marry their kids off to me, but...

But... having rank is an awful big lure to people who chase that kind of thing. Looks really nice to have someone in the family marry up the chain.

Ughhhhhh. The rank thing again. You get a couple of stripes on your sleeve and suddenly you're marriage...able or whatever.

I promise I'm not going to fight anyone who's going to take me fighting with them as hitting on them. I might fight other people but that's an entirely different scenario.
