She smiles a little in return as she takes the offered hand to easier get to her feet.

"Hermione, please."

Not that it isn't nice it its own sort of way to be addressed as 'my lady', but for one she doesn't really feel like a lady right now with her clothing sticking awkwardly to her body and her hair a puffy cloud of frizz, and for another it makes her very unsure about how to address him.

"And you won't have to carry me. I promise."

He helps her up easily, nodding slightly in acceptance and releasing her once she seems steady.

"Then we had best get moving, so as not to make a liar of you. It cannot be far now, and the sooner we find out destination the sooner we might rest in peace. Come, hopefully there will be some shade along the way."

Hermione most certainly hopes there will be shade on the way, but she is determined to make it even if there isn't, and thus starts walking at a steady pace. Not too fast, lest she exhaust herself too quickly, but not so slowly that it will take forever to get where they are going either.

"I suppose we mustn't let our expectations get too high."

The place has been abandoned for centuries after all. Whatever legend and history books say about it, it's probably rather far from the actual reality at this point.

Her comment isn't brought on by anything in particular, it just seemed about as worthwhile a conversational topic as anything, and she'd rather talk than just plod along in tortured silence while the sun slowly cooks her to death.
