[Being a teenager from another planet is hard and no one understands. Add in super powers, people constantly trying to kill her, and well... it's safe to say that life just kind of sucks lately. It sucks and she's tired. Not physically, at least not mostly, but it's been emotionally exhausting and she's just so drained some days.]

[Being a teenager alone is bad, but with everything else added on it's the worst thing ever. Okay, maybe she's being a little over dramatic, but it's been one of those days.]

[That said, sleeping and flying are a really bad mix especially if someone else just happens to be flying nearby. Look out below?]

[She hates this car. She hears the remarks from her uncle, the ones that say just how he could have kept the Camero, could have not gotten the car that had been fit for a Soccer Mom. Sitting in the backseat with Isaac she wonders if he feels the same way. She's been silent most the night. Waiting.

God, she hates waiting. She hates that all the plans involve actual planning instead of just doing something about it. Planning is what the other pack is doing. They're not going to count on them just lunging forward.

Sighing heavily, she rests her head against the door. Her elbow pressing hard against the make-shift armrest. Her eyes shut, mostly from boredom and she eventually drifts off. Of course, somewhere in between shifting to get comfortable and shifting just to shift, she ends up pressed to Isaac's side. Her breathing is steady, she doesn't snore and there's no risk of a night terror - despite six months in near isolation.

No, she's just sleeping there. In the backseat. Against Isaac while her brother wanders around the high school looking for who knows what.]

[ You'd think armor and Turian physiology wouldn't be very comfortable, but with the day Shep's had — or, you know, the year/lifetime/galaxy's worth she's had — she's making a point to try and stay awake.

A lot of it's in vain, though, occasionally nodding off on his shoulder before she seems to force herself awake through sheer will. And stubbornness. Don't forget that part. ]

[ he doesn't mean to fall asleep on pavel. it's particularly ironic, because they're in the coffee shop and there's a steaming mug of hikaru's very favourite mocha, brewed to perfection and with just enough cream to take away any bitterness just waiting to be drunk.

he doesn't mean to, but pavel is talking and hikaru loves listening to him, but he's also pulled an all-nighter finishing up some schematics and didn't skip fencing practice this morning and then there was class and a group meeting after and the lilt of pavel's voice, just a little different, is pleasant and kind of — soothing.

before he knows it, his head's dropped to pavel's shoulder, heavy in sleep. ]

[ They still can't call each other friends. Snape gives off the impression he doesn't want or need them. Marion is just way too different. She likes people. She wants to trust people even if she knows how dangerous that is. Getting burned is way too dangerous for either of them.

Maybe that is why they are working together right now. They silently agreed to not burn each other.

She offered her help with something. An olive branch in her own way. She knew how to locate some rare book he needed. They were working silently side by side to get what he needs. After a very long night of work she felt herself growing pretty damn tired. She struggled to stay awake even with words starting to blur together.

She really doesn't mean to doze off on him of all people. She just can't keep her eyes open. ]
