[It had honestly been hard to come up with something to actually do on their first ever date. After all, you can't really take a vampire out anywhere that involves food. And Fuuma wasn't sure what Kamui liked, apart from trying to claw off his face.]

[So he went with the old standby of a movie. No one really disliked movies, right? Or at least not all movies. And an empty movie theater ensured that they could be noisy if he got lucky they wanted to talk.]

Did the world you came from have things like TVs and movies?

[ W, why did he ever agree to this. Why is this sort of thing supposed to be fun? Why did the Hunter call it a date.

Kamui's not paying any attention to the movie. There are people in it with problems he doesn't have or really understand. Instead, he's making himself as compact as possible in his seat; hands on his knees, shoulders curled inward, back so slightly hunched. ]

[It's a bit hard to not notice the fact that Kamui looks more than a bit tense. He had figured that a movie of all things wouldn't be very threatening - you are only sitting next to each other, eye contact isn't even necessary. He leans over, planting an elbow on the armrest between them.]

[ Jumps! He resists the urge to hiss at Fuuma leaning closer, but turns to glare at him. ]

I didn't mean it like that. I was just curious. [Chuckles, completely ignoring the glare he's getting. He's not moving.]

[His eyes do flick back onto the screen, watching idly. Maybe he should have actually looked up what the movies in this world were about. The title hadn't sounded bad, but it seems to be turning into a romantic comedy.]

[ His posture does relax as he glowers; at least, he doesn't seem to care as much about curling into the seat. ]

What do you care? [ Which is really the central question he'd like to get a straight answer for. He doesn't understand -- and really can't surmise -- any motivation for the Hunter's behavior. Other than possibly mocking him. ]

[Well, at least Kamui seems more comfortable being grumpy at him than just sitting together. He can handle that.]

[He hums.] Am I not allowed to be interested in you?

I wonder. Maybe you're just interesting. [Really, he asked you out on a date, Kamui. At least part of the interest is explained right there.]

[ A loud noise from the screen -- someone yelling -- serves to remind him exactly why they're here, and he's back to hunching in his seat, looking away. ]

[Pffft, silly vampire.] Something wrong?

[ M, mrrrr. Kamui shakes his head. It does no good to voice his doubts; the Hunter will only mock him further. ]

This is a terrible movie.

[Him? Mock Kamui? Never! Fuuma just looks amused at the comment, slouching to rest his chin in his hand, smiling. It doesn't look like he's paying much attention to the movie. He did have something nicer to look at, anyways.]

[ Aaaaa, why are you staring at him?! F, fluster. Then bristles. Because that's safer. ]

[The look on his face could almost pass for a pout. If Kamui knows enough about Fuuma, he might be able to tell it is completely fake, but it is a pretty convincing act.]

[Standing up with a bit of a sigh, offering Kamui a hand.]

[ Kamui's made it a habit/credo to never trust anything the Hunter says or does, but if they're moving, he's willing to go along. He doesn't take the hand -- as if -- but stands, and waits for Fuuma to go. ]

[Why are you so abusive, boyfriend. He's trying to be a gentleman! But he'll start walking, moving out of the way so Kamui can take the stairs to the exit first.]
