A Far Cry 3. Really, who doesn't want to be on an island that's trying to kill you and caught int he middle of a war between the natives and the invaders?

I was going to copy-paste this from my Tumblr but it was too much of a mess, so here's a retype.

Rather than characters getting pulled into a new world, they're dropped into some sort of neutral zone that looks like a stereotypical Mount Olympus or Asgard or some other diety-residence. They discover that they are now the god of their very own planet - which won't be able to progress without their intervention. Their godly powers get recharged by interacting with other newly-chosen deities. (OOCly, perhaps you get a certain amount of points for each successful activity check passed, which you can 'spend' on modifying planet?)

I dunno, I just think it'd be cool.
(Imagine certain characters refusing to intervene at all without sacrifices/worship. And laugh. And then also imagine the adorable, benevolently concerned gods some other characters would be.)

Do they get extra power from their followers worshiping them?

Heh, I never really worked that out. I feel like that'd be hard to have a fair way to determine without any mods seriously stressing themselves out deciding on each case (unless it was a loyalty perk or something? 'I stayed in the game for 4 months so my character now has followers').

To be honest I've got no idea what to do with this idea even if people do like it, I've never tried to start a game and I wouldn't trust myself with one.

Could do it as an activity perk. Passing AC gives a small, static boost to followers, and activity beyond AC minimums give more on a scale.

Rapture/Columbia setting. Basically, Rapture with the Luteces. After creating the tear device, Ryan coopts it to seek out more technologies to get a leg up on Fontaine in the unending race for mastery over Rapture.

Of course, they lose control of the tears in Rapture, Fontaine getting to listen through some, Lamb through others, and people start filtering through whether they want to or not. Nosebleeds throughout Rapture quickly go on the rise. Eventually, the Luteces manage to focus them in one certain laboratory - maybe call it Charon's Wharf, to stick with the Rapture theme - but it's too late. Now all three sides of the Rapture disaster have access to technology throughout the universes, and the three faction leaders have to try to recruit the newcomers to their sides.

There's only one thing that they all agree on: nobody in Rapture can go to the surface. Not permanently. Rapture goes to the winner, and with the wealth of technology now in the city, she is quite the prize to be won.

Player characters get to be tempted with tonics and plasmids, risk everything to smuggle contraband, be threatened with becoming Big Daddies, and exist under threat of death (and reanimation thanks to Vita-Chambers) if they break Ryan's rules.

Based on a thread I did in an Apocalypse Meme forever ago: Earth is pretty much wiped out by some kind of cataclysm (giant asteroid impact, supervolcano, nuclear war, whatever). Some friendly passing aliens pick up as many survivors as they can and drop them on a nice habitable earthlike planet to start over again.

General gameplay would just involve trying to rebuild civilisation, dealing with the aftermath of most of humanity getting wiped out (could even do some fun stuff with people who'd been on opposite sides having to work together if you went for the nuclear war route), all that jazz. Gamewide events could involve dealing with crises on the new homeworld: extreme weather/natural disasters, disease, carnivorous local flora and fauna, a splinter group from the survivors going off to found their own settlement and stirring up trouble along the way...the possibilities are endless.

The nice thing is that you could easily bring in any character from any modern setting, and it would be very easy to fit OCs in.

- Crossover: I love crossovers. Especially things to thread out concerning her being a werewolf, and maybe introducing the other person to pack life/how to be a werewolf. Or someone introducing her to life away from the pack, and thus breaking her submissive attitude a bit. Make her a bit more independent.

- AU: I'd love to do an arranged marriage for the safety of the pack or her being auctioned off because she's a good strong worker and well educated. I'd also love something where she actually has to fight for her life, and can't depend on the pack as much as she does.

- Gen: So, this is going to require a Peter/Derek Hale. I really want to thread out her going to Beacon Hills, and trying to find a new Alpha. Peter for the mindfuckery of it, and Derek for the not so much mindfuckery as just using her for his own purposes.

Post-canon: Where she meets him in Heaven and takes him back to the Roadhouse, and they're keeping an eye on the boys and he calls them 'idjits' and she calls them 'Winchesters' and maybe some shenanigans.

John Winchester:

Precanon: A meme/PSL where they end up hooking up for a night or two, despite their animosity over Bill's death.

AU: Where Bill dies, but not because of John's ineptitude. Maybe something where they combine forces and she raises the boys/Jo together and John doesn't get nearly as obsessed with hunting as he was and the boys have a real home.

Willing to consider pretty much any AU (would love to play with a Chris Argent as old hunting buddies/something or a Peter Hale Where she knows about werewolves and is an old friend of the Hales/or maybe Bill's a friend/distant relative) and love playing off other SPN muses.

This is probably a long shot, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. I was wondering if there are any Snow White and the Huntsman RPers who would be interested in the occasional meme thread or PSL or whatever, with an AU Prince Hal (the Hollow Crown) as one of the ravens that helped Snow White escape. I'd really love to thread with a Ravenna or Snow, specifically, but really any SWATH players in general because there needs to be more of them out there. ~~Does anybody out there play William? D: Dwarves?~~

I wrote a quick blurb of Raven's info here for anybody who would be interested. Though really, even non-SWATH characters, I'd like to toss this AU around more so if anyone would be at all curious. Fantasy-type would probably be best considering the character, but yeah, just putting this out there on the off chance there's an interested party o/

Two memes that don't need to be posted every week: this one and random scenario. Seriously, please. Whenever RS gets posted everyone flocks to musedump there and ignores everything else. Please make it a once a month or less thing.

If the same handful of memes gets repeatedly posted every week then there's no room for new memes. That sounds incredibly boring to me, but maybe you just like blandness.
