1. Bubble Bath ;
Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm—go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower ;
Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don’t slip!
3. Hot Tub ;
A whirlpool of warmth and—mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs ;
An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath ;
There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Aww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake ;
In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.
7. Other ;
Anything else that may have been forgotten!

[ eyeing the comb for a second, levi gives up on it and starts working on soaping himself up with the bubbles instead. ]

These smell weird.

Some kind of... fruit. [ maybe? they don't get much fruit in the army. anyway, he uses those fancy smelling bubbles to scrub at a slight stain on his arm. ]

Who bought these anyway?

I think it's... strawberry? [ She can't exactly tell; she's not an expert on scents, and for some reason the more she attempts to think on the subject, the more she realizes just how... clouded her thoughts are becoming. Yes, that's right; clouded by something else-- subtle observations such as how muscular he is and how soft he seems to be in this moment, as well as... feelings?

[ It's spoken in a more hushed tone and oh god that was dumb why did she say that. ]

[ he sinks down a little into the water, feeling the froth rise up to his collarbones. frowning, he considers her question. ]

No.

[ he makes an attempt to remember what he likes, which isn't as easy because he doesn't eat fruit that much. ] Peaches are better.

[ continuing to sink down into the water, he relaxes into the water. it's nice and warm in the bath, and he's feeling more and more calm despite the possibility of her leaving hair in the water. ]

[ What she likes is Titans, and everyone knows that. Her voicing this fact almost comes out automatically, but. They're becoming further and further from her mind. ] I haven't had a peach since the Wall fell.


[ Where is sits beside Levi, somehow she feels herself... being drawn in. What is this? ]

[ no peaches, only one random symbolic (?) pomegranate in this series. ]

[ he keeps sliding down into the water, eyelids lowering slightly as he relaxes into the warmth. ]

[ She doesn't say anything response at, but she's listening. He has her attention, all of it. For once not thinking about any experiment or Titans. ] ....Yes?

[ She flicks a bubble in front of her, popping it. ]

[ he realizes that, and also how significant it is. ...and how weird it is, but he'll deal with that later. ]

[ he's already turning kind of pink, but maybe it's because the bath is warm. EXCUSES. ]

[ She does notice that he appears to be turning pink-- but she is too, as well. And, well, normally she wouldn't think much of them being both naked in this bath, but now it's different. Much different. She can't exactly determine why, but it doesn't matter. ] ...You did...? [ Said with some amount of surprise.


Then-- ] I wouldn't mind that... being alone with you again. [ She means seeing the stars again, but she doesn't clarify.

Oh wait, they are alone right now, aren't they? ]

We're alone right now.

[ well, as far as he knows. he doesn't think there's anybody else in the bath, and if there is, they've probably scared them silent by now. ]

[ Staaarrre. Wouldn't he usually not want to be alone with her?

Then. ] Are you blushing?

[curtailment]

It's warm in here.

[ that's a yes. ]

Aha~! You are blushing...! [ Who cares for how the water is hot. She's tea him anyway. She playfully splashes bubbles at him.


...Also she's blushing too but shhhh. ]

[ scowling at the splashing, levi rubs soap away from his eyes carefully and flicks some bubbles back at her. ]

Shut the hell up. Look at yourself for a change.

Oh, no, this isn't blushing. [ Quick, Zoe, think of an excuse--! ]

[curtailment]

Yeah? What is it, then?

[ HE DARES YOU. ]

[deviantlyhates]

I'm just.... thinking of Titans!

[ Best excuse.

Nooo she's not thinking of you. Whatever gave you that idea? ]

[curtailment]

If you were thinking of Titans, you'd be screaming about them, too.

[ WELP.

She laughs. ] It's nothing...! It just that I thought for a moment that... Mm, have you been working out?

[curtailment]

You can't fool me. I know you have Titans on your freaky-ass brain all the time.

[ um. he looks down. ] Yeah, but so have you.

[ working out by killing titans, aw yeah. ] You look.

[ that is, clean-ish, because she's in the bath. ]

[ "I'm not thinking of them now"... is what she almost says.

But then she can't resist smirking. ] Why, Levi, this must be the first earnest compliment I've ever gotten from you.

[ he thinks about it for a second, but yeah, she's probably right. ] Easier for you to remember it, I guess.

Does this mean I have to compliment you, now?

[curtailment]

No. [ he doesn't doubt that it would be at least partially sincere, but he also doesn't want one because he knows that it would be sincere. ]
