Weather is one of those things you just can't avoid. When you start wishing for it to get cold, you change your mind and hope it's hot. Rain? Either a blessing or a curse. Whatever it is--rain, sleet, snow, or hail--you're officially stuck dealing with it.

1. rain, rain, go away; it's pouring rain. Pouring rain. Maybe you're an energetic type who wants to run around in dance in it, or maybe the rain makes you melancholy, or maybe it's perfect snuggle weather. Whatever it is, it's pounding on your windowpane, and you better get out of it if you want to stay dry.

2. it's like a heat wave; it's hotter than satan's asscrack out here! no, seriously. the worst part about summer is when that crushing humidity and heat starts to settle in and makes you feel like actual death. but then again, maybe it's good pool weather. or beach weather. or amusement park weather. or maybe just getting naked weather?

3. let it snow, let it snow; on the other end of the spectrum, the raindrops you thought you've felt started to turn into a blanket of snow. whether it's a flurry or two on a sunday morning or a full out blizzard, you might as well enjoy it however you know how, right? snowball fights, sitting in front of a fire, or making the neighbor kid shovel your driveway, there are a million possibilities.

4. there's a storm a brewin'; one minute, it was beautiful, the next, it's so cloudy it looks like nighttime, and you can hear thunder rolling in the distance. better hope you're not afraid of thunderstorms--or that you're a storm chaser.

5. it's a perfect day; finally, the beautiful day you've been waiting for! the perfect temperature, no humidity, the perfect weather for just about anything! sometimes the universe can be nice, right?

[The rain is a relief. After all, there's been a record drought lately. Absolutely no precipitation for weeks. But, at long last, there's a balm for the small city's plight.

Granted, the drizzling liquid is thicker than water and red, much more the consistency of blood, and the air smells faintly of sulphur... But it's rain!

He's on a break from the station right now, getting a bit of lunch between the morning and afternoon segments, walking down the street -- after all, why drive when there's a lovely little diner just down the way from the station? His umbrella is up, and he's quite pleased to be out in this lovely change.]

[ The world might be righting itself again, and things might be getting easier with Castiel, but that doesn't mean things are easy all on their own. He wiped the sweat off his forehead with his dioyscarded suit jacket. This had to be the hottest say so far this year. If he was more paranoid, he'd almost think this was somehow an EVO's doing.

As he took a few more steps towards the nearest bulletin board, he glares at the top line.

"BIMONTHLY POWER SHIFT DRILL AT 2 PM."

He glared at a nearby clock. 1:50. Knowing his luck lately, they'd be turning off the AC.
