The OVER A DRINK Meme

1. Post with your character.

2. You're at a bar. What kind of bar? Any kind you want. From fantasy taverns where various species mingle to futuristic space bars where half the drinks will probably kill you, or even an overly kitsch themed place where everything is overpriced, it's all good as long as there are drinks and company.

3. Respond to other characters. Perhaps you want to buy them a drink. Or perhaps you're inclined to be bought a drink. Maybe you saw someone you knew, or maybe you just want someone to talk to. Could be there's nowhere else to sit, and could be you want to drag them out to dance.

4. Get drunk. Or don't! Be the guest, or the bartender, or the newcomer, or even the janitor. Mingle, make friends, or lurk in a corner.

5. They say alcohol lowers one's inhibitions. Might just be time to find out how much.

He comes out from behind the bar with a bottle from the top shelf in hand. Two shot glasses in the other. Does he work here? Of course not. Does he look concerned about lifting that bottle as if he owns the place? His smug smile says he absolutely does not have an ounce of concern.

"Wanna play a game?" Ash asks as he takes a seat and sets the bottle between them.

She makes a show of tsk-tsking him for his petty larceny (as if he couldn't buy out the whole entire bar, if he wanted to.)

But once she sees the label on that bottle, Oni lets out a low whistle. "Sure, cheri. I'll play any game you don't mind losin'." Ah, this grin. Whatever they were, or weren't anymore, the competitiveness between them was never going anywhere.

[It's not like they have to buy drinks at the bar in the Oceanview. But it's a nice change of pace, being out and about instead of in Tom's room.

Not that room 665 isn't spacious and well appointed, but it's nice to stretch one's legs, once in a while.]

[ It's in one of the bars near the school that Scott finds Ororo. The owner is a good friend of the Professor, so their presence here, as mutants, is well-received. One of the few safe havens where they can just be. ]

All the looks from the students, because she was dead, then back, then dead again, then back, were getting to be too much to handle and she wanted to be somewhere away from all of that. She went into a bar near the school, ordered a drink and sat in a quiet table in the corner.

That...that he is grateful for, in ways he doesn't quite know how to express. The usual methods seem less than adequate.

So instead of coffee, he brings around a bottle and two glasses when he sees Rook lingering in the dining area. One eyebrow lifts, as he tilts his head towards the table. ]
