The Hanahaki Disease is an illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the petals...

1- Discovery:
There's the one person who makes your heart leap into your throat- but wait, that's not your heart. Where are all these flowers coming from? And why do they remind you of your beloved?

2- Concern:
Someone you know has been acting strange lately... Coughing a lot, hiding their hands all the time... It's enough to make anybody worry.

3- Sicker and Sicker:
Coughing up flower petals all the time isn't easy to hide. But it's getting harder to even breathe, now. You're going to have to make a decision, and soon...

4- Confession:
Everyone knows that there's two ways to get rid of Hanahaki: Surgery (the risk dependent on the time period), or confessing your feelings. Time to toe up and face your beloved and just tell them that you love them so much you're dying from it.

5- Post-Op:
The other option... You just couldn't tell them, but you weren't ready to die. Still, without those feelings the world seems a little less colorful. Can you still be friends with them now that you have to start all over? Do you want to?

6- Make your own!
There's flower petals coming out of somebody's mouth in some way for some reason- make this prompt your own.

Just as a note, due to the nature of the meme vivid descriptions of coughing/choking/gagging are probably going to happen. If you want it toned down, make sure to put that in your top-level.

[ There are many trials and tribulations of being a Knight of Beauty. It comes with literal hazards, and at times varying levels of the exact opposite of exactly that no matter which land he has found himself upon. But, it is something that Argenti has embraced with each and every fiber of his being; it is a part of the wonderful nature of wondering, journeying, as well as spreading the nature of Beauty across the land.

The red-haired man spots the other man in the general vicinity where there are perhaps an onslaught of some monsters encroaching, having not yet made contact, but are bound to. Daring in broad-daylight, yet some have done so behind natural barriers. Perhaps this man is the type of individual who can hold his own, yet does he have to do it alone?

Nay! The Knight in question leaps into the battle without hesitation, spear out and ready to strike down said creatures - beings that cling to shadows but are more like formless demons. Either new kinds of monsters, or something run of the mill, but there are Many. It reminds Argenti nevertheless of some he may have glimpsed in other worlds, but they are not bound to last with his efforts. ]

[ Alex and Henry had been thrown to many situation ever since their cake-fiasco. On his part, it had been the Prime Minister, and in Alex's his mother. Perhaps Henry treated it like his duty, though there was a fondness where it came to Alex regardless even though he attempted to treat it like it was business.

It was his will that kept him from succumbing totally to the flowers filling his lungs though he could feel it's tickle. There was a certain amount of will-power involved, as if he could will the flower petals rogue as they were down from his lungs and further into his heart.

He was at one of the many functions that he had to attend, and across the room he could see Alex charming the pants off of the Duchess of Windsor, of course he would. He attempted to hide his smile behind a glass of wine, and struggled to look away. The sad fact was that he had people to mingle with though his eyes remained on Alex the entire time.

As if the other guy was like some north star that he had to follow. ]
