Still, Relena was polite and listened, even adding in her own comments into the various conversations she's being drawn into. Thankfully, Sanjiro is with her every step of the way and can help her find excuses to exit the conversations when they go on too long.
Like right now. It's near noon and she can already feel that she needs a break from this conversation which has been going in circles for awhile now. It seems like no matter what comments or suggestions she may make, the senator she's talking to always brings it back to the points he wants to gripe about.
So when he leaned in to whisper in her ear, it was a relief. Even if the comment does make her smile a little and glance to him. She nods to let him know she heard him. Honestly, the feeling is very mutual. It also gave her the perfect excuse to get herself out of this situation.]
