No, not really. [ Unfortunately, he replies with honesty. ] But we only ever see the sun rise. So if Ash likes sunsets then it's obvious we have to do that!

I don't actually like one more than the other. It'd be true if I said sunrises, too. I guess that one came out because even with my schedule, I see more sets than rises.

The idea behind them's the same. The way it paints the sky and let's even the smoggy city of New York look nice.

I wouldn't want to interrupt your busy schedule. So I'll just have to settle for sunrise.

Nuh-uh. I'll admit, I'm not exactly the type who goes looking to admire scenery. I get too caught up in my thoughts when it's just me.

It's New York so the best places don't happen by accident. In the countryside, it's a little easier to stumble onto a good view, but in the city, you usually have to go high up or far away.

The ferries usually look pretty nice if you catch the right one.

I never been to the country before. So you'd know better than me...

[ He rubs at the side of his neck. ]

But if the point is to see you enjoying yourself then I gotta make an effort. Like you said, the best places don't happen by accident.

[ There's a pause as he contemplates the stupidity that is likely to spew from his mouth next. ]

But maybe it isn't always true. I mean, you coming up beside me that one time was a total accident. And that doesn't change that anywhere can be great if you're next to me.

The ferry? Really~? I haven't actually done that yet.

[ He is quick to smile again. Never mind the past violence talk. ]
