[Stiles was pretty sure Derek had been avoiding him. A tactic Lydia had used unsuccessfully on him for years, so he was pretty used to it. No big deal. It's not like he'd expected a ring or even a relationship. A phone call, a text, or even a random visit might have been nice though. Again, Stiles had lost his virginity in a pretty spectacular way so he was by no means complaining. It's not like Derek was a social person by nature to begin with and he was sure their paths were bound to cross just through his association with Scott.

Scott, by the way, had given him a wide berth the next school morning. He kept wrinkling his nose, but at least he didn't say anything. Stiles was pretty sure he reeked of Derek's scent. A smell that diminished steadily over the past few days as he showered daily.

He and Scott had been waiting in Derek's loft to talk to him about the sacrifices currently going on in town. He must have fallen asleep and his jerk of a best friend had just left him there on Derek's bed.

Even in his sleep, he couldn't lay still. He kept shifting and rolling throughout the night, the sheets twisting around his body. His face nearly smothered into a large and comfortable pillow, mumbling in his sleep. You know, his usual sleep habits]

It had been a long time since he felt so comfy, but as he groggily opened his eyes a look of panic started to grow when he realized he had no clue where was.

But he's been waiting in the Commander's room for her to come up so they could speak about his results, and waiting still some more, and it's chilly, and she has an extra blanket tossed on the foot of her bed. It's only pragmatic to use it. Her room's colder than the others. It's the fish tanks, likely. Perhaps lack of insulation. After all, stars are visible from here.

He starts out simply sitting on the edge of the bed, wearing the blanket, reviewing the data, but as the time stretches Mordin's eyes begin to droop. Before he knows it, he's fast asleep, curled up in the blanket.]
