There a probably much better places to do this kind of thing. Almost definitely. But Conner really couldn't help himself. Those were simple words. Four simple little words that have been ringing in his head since speaking them. All of his life, all of those battles, and all of those mysteries have lead to this. One final meeting to settle the past.

That is what he blames for his lack of inhibition. Then again he cannot quite remember who made the first move. It is all clumsy, some from need and some out of being new. Their jackets are gone leaving them in thing shirts and hands snaking through them trying to move forward.

Special attention is going to her neck, that long muscle tense and just right for taking into his lips. He can feel her pulse he thinks. It is a beautiful sign of life and one he finds himself wanting to preserve more and more.

The worst thought still lingers on him. Tomorrow could be it. Tomorrow he could be dead. For now he wants to feel alive and there is no other person he rather do that with than her.]
