TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!

The last few weeks have been a confluence of events apparently designed by the universe specifically to piss him off.

It had started off with Dey getting in touch to ask for their help running a high-priority package to one of the outlying Nova colonies. It was a tedious milk run as far as missions went, but everyone's resources are stretched thin right now, and a fast and well-armed ship like the Milano that can see off raiders without an escort is a valuable asset. And since everything that went down on Xandar — since what fucking happened to Xandar when Thanos came for the Stone — Dey's one of those people he has an annoyingly hard time saying no to. So, strike one: stuck on a boring mission just long enough that him and Nebs had started getting on each other's nerves.

Their journey back to check in on things on Earth had then abruptly ceased being boring in the most inconvenient way possible when a wing of necrocraft ambushed them on the fringes of Kree territory. To be fair, the fight had at least spiced things up a bit, but by the time they came away victorious, the Milano was definitely limping. Most of the next few days had passed in a haze of smoke and scrap and more fresh cuts and burns blossoming on his hands every time he paused long enough to look down, keeping her just patched up enough to keep flying.

By that point they didn't have enough juice left to chart a new course to another friendly port, so they didn't have much option other than to continue on to Earth. Which is its own kind of problem, because Earth kind of has shit all in terms of the spare parts he needs. It's not the end of the world — they're not going to end up stranded or anything — but having to do everything from scratch is making the repairs take ten times as long as they need to. They're going to be grounded another couple of weeks at least. But hey, at least they're on an inhabited planet with a breathable atmosphere where they can get out of each other's hair and blow off some steam.

Or so he'd thought, anyway. Unfortunately his attempt to do so has culminated in the insult-to-injury of the last hour and a half, and the reason he's now stalking back into the compound in a palpable cloud of irritation to demand of the first familiar face he encounters: "What the fuck is a driver's license, and why won't any bars on this shithole planet let me in without one?"

Natasha was comfortably ensconced on the plush couch in the lounge, casually eating Lucky Charms right out of the box and flipping through TV channels. Food Network was always a favorite, so she stopped her scrolling and began to watch Ina Garten cook with a pound of butter and half a bottle of wine, and glance up just as unperturbed when one of the resident aliens (pun absolutely intended) burst through the doorway, bristling like a wet cat.

Without missing a beat, or a marshmallow, the former Black Widow calmly replied, "Identification card. Everyone on the planet above a certain age carries one." After another handful of cereal, she added, just as amiably, "I did try to explain it to you before you left, although apparently you didn't hear me, considering you were too busy ranting and raving about something else at the time."

Not at all ruffled by the pilot's bad mood - she'd learned it was the default when it came to this particular space denizen - Natasha simply muted the TV, the Barefoot Contessa's nasally Hampton voice really not blending well with the current live surroundings.

"We do have booze here," she remarked, idly closing up her cereal box. "Stark stocks a pretty decent bar, unless you're aiming for the ambience more than the alcohol."

The look he shoots her suggests that he's not completely convinced she's not fucking with him, but to be fair, the explanation does tally with the deeply annoying experience he's just had. His nose wrinkles slightly in distaste as he sinks onto the other end of the sofa with an air of faintly disgusted resignation. "That's messed up." He does not seem to feel the need to elaborate further on this statement.

Now that she comes to mention it, he does vaguely remember someone saying something about identification when he'd been on his way out, but given that he doesn't have any it'd seemed like kind of a moot point. "Sure," he says. "Get fake papers for next time. Noted." He's still not sure what having ID has to do with being sold a drink, but to be fair, he hasn't never put a few new highlights on his criminal record under the influence. Maybe law enforcement on this planet are just real proactive about that kind of thing.

His eyes slide sideways to her with a new note of cautious interest at the mention of a bar on site. "At this point I'll take what I can get," he replies. "It's been a long couple of weeks."

Whether his grousing bothered, irritated, or amused her, the world would never know. Natasha's expression never changed; it simply remained the bemused, ironic countenance she gave to everything. Eventually, their guest might (hopefully) learn to listen to folks who've lived here all of their fucking lives, but who knew? Rocket was famous for his temper and stubbornness, two traits that weren't at all in short supply beneath this particular roof.

"C'mon," she finally said, allowing a sigh of mild exasperation as she uncoiled from the couch, striding towards the exit with casually nonchalant grace.

The destination was another communal area across the compound; Natasha moved behind the counter and fetched down a bottle of whiskey, vodka, and a small unmarked silver flask, inquiring over a shoulder, "Preference?" She set up two shot glasses on the glass counter top, adding, "There's the usuals, a few imported - and don't ask me from where - and then there's Asgardian Ale, courtesy of Thor." A gesture indicated the silver flask.

"Tiny amounts recommended," was her caveat regarding the ale. "Stuff packs a helluva punch."

He's not typically noted for being compliant or easily led, but the promise of something to drink is enough to have him following along without complaint. As promised, there's no shortage of bottles lining the shelves.

The Asgardian ale gets a long, contemplative look before he gives a reluctant sigh and shakes his head. "Not tonight," he says. "Got too much to do to deal with the three day hangover offa that shit." Sliding onto one of the barstools opposite her, he folds his arms in front of him and gives the other bottles some consideration.

"Not really tried much of the local stuff, to be honest." He taps his fingers thoughtfully against the bartop before nudging one of the shot glasses towards her. "Surprise me."

Bartending was just one of her many talents. Taking Rocket his word, Natasha gave a soft shrug and did just that, turning around to reach beneath the counter, and came back with another unmarked bottle, the golden liquid inside almost shimmering as it caught the light.

"Stark's private mix," she labeled it, filling the shot glass with a generous pour. It smelled crisp and sweet, almost tart, and she knew from experience that it would have the same flavor, and flow down the throat almost like honey or syrup. It warmed from the inside out, was smooth and easy to drink, and best of all, it got one drunk without one realizing one was getting drunk.

"And no nasty morning-after, either," Natasha told him, pouring a dose for herself. "Cheers."

"Cheers." He raises the shot glass to her in a lazy salute and knocks back the contents without hesitation. It takes him almost by surprise how smooth it goes down, and the taste is lighter and sweeter than he was expecting. There's a slow burn that sneaks up in the wake of it though which suggests that it'll get the job done nice and quick even if it is deceptively easy to drink.

He gives the traces still clinging to the glass a contemplative sniff. "Damn. Hell of a private reserve." He hasn't been particularly impressed by what little he's seen of Stark so far — sure, the tech's not bad by terran standards, but that's a low bar — but on this one he's willing to concede the guy's at least got good taste in drinks.

"So what are the other ones?" he asks, indicating the bottles she'd pulled out first with a nod. One is completely clear, the other a translucent amber. Something about the lettering on the bottle of clear liquid — vodka, she'd called it — rings a distant bell in the limited but rapidly expanding reference file he's accumulating about life on Earth; he picks it up, considering it more closely. "This one's from your corner of the planet, right?"
