one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!

eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.

nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

[It's one of those super lazy days that seem in short supply lately, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Between meetings with the Earth King and the leaders of both the Northern and Southern Water Tribes, Zuko's been absolutely exhausted lately. It had taken his uncle's insistence to get him to take a much needed vacation, so he'd decided to take Mai somewhere relaxing. His family's old summer house on Ember Island seemed like it'd do the trick.

He rests his head against the armrest of the couch, one hand placed under his head and the other on the small of her back as she lays on top of him. She's so willowy and light that having her on top of him is pretty much just like having a blanket on top of him... a beautiful, sharp-tongued blanket that could kill him with its pinky.]

(Toph didn't really feel like having another 'girl's day out' or even a 'girl's night out' but it was something Katara had insisted on which meant being dragged into the upper echelon of Ba Sing Se despite semi-loud protests.

She'd never say it out loud, but she had enjoyed spending that one day with Katara which ended in those three prissy girls being drenched from head to toe. She couldn't 'see' them but knew they had to have looked ridiculous! Or maybe she enjoyed it because of the company she kept...

First stop: a very familiar massaging establishment! Toph knew it was familiar because she could 'feel' the people around and most were the same ones.)

[When Derek finally comes back to the loft, everything is clean. The water is gone, the triskele on his window is faded, and there's no sign of anything that went down days before and he thinks that it's worse finding things looking normal than coming back to find the loft wrecked.

The only difference in the place is that he walks in and finds Stiles sitting on the couch. Not Cora, not Isaac, not Jennifer. And, while he feels like he should be surprised to find him there, he's not.

It doesn't stop him from questioning it anyway, though, as he moves toward the couch to sit on the opposite end.]

[ She's still not used to the weird brightness of this place, how humans are awake when the sun is up, but she had to admit that the island was pretty great. The open spaces and the green areas, even if the surrounding waters weren't something she'd particularly enjoy.
And spending time with her had become more and more fun. One would think they'd get along like cats and dogs, specially considering how they met, but things had gone surprisingly well in the end. The more they spoke, the more they played, the more stories they made up and the more time they spent together would just reveal to get better and better. Hours and days would fly by, and, before you know it, there would be little stolen glances, blushing smiles and recurrent giggles.

And now, this walk around the island was quiet, but comfortable. She didn't know what was going on in the human's mind, glancing curiously at her from time to time. She looks down at her hand, and wonder if she should just...Oh, but she isn't so sure.]
