FUCK*, MARRY, OR KILL
a game with a twist

You know the game: now, let’s dabble in a version that’s a little bit unusual.
how to play
○ Do the comment do.
○ Folks line up to say whether they would fuck* (*kiss, if your character's underage or you're not into R-rated dialogue), marry, or kill your guy.
○ Rinse. Repeat. ♾️

None of that is an answer, you realize.
[ jing yuan chuckles, refilling both of their cups with a smile. ]

Indeed, but we wouldn't want things to be too easy now, won't we?
[ She cracks an eye open, keeping her smile and taking her cup back into her grasp. She looks down, watching the glisten on the drink's surface as she mulls the question over. It should be an easy question, really. It's all fun and games for her to give this more thought that she's giving it. She stalls, tapping her fingertip on her lips to be coy. ]
Hmm...

Well, if you would rather push me off of the Luofu than confront either of the other two options, I promise I won't be offended.
[ with a light laugh he takes another sip, then sets his cup down again. he's got a comfortable buzz, but he doesn't want to overdo it. ]

[ She joins him in drinking, taking a bigger sip as she had less inhibitions about getting drunk. It's one thing she likes about not ending up an Arbiter General or the fact she's no longer a leader. She can indulge in her vices without worry. ]
Which gives away my answer. I will marry you. That is, if your reputation can handle being wed to a former resident of the Shackling Prison.
no subject
Marry, is it?
[ truthfully, he had expected a simple fuck, so color him mildly surprised. with a light chuckle, jing yuan leans back in his chair, a comfortable smile on his face. ]
My reputation is being consistently raked over the coals. Lest you forget, one of my dearest friends was also a resident of the shackling prison.
[ and his old master. and then there's the stellaron hunter.. ]

[ Calm she is on the outside, but her still mind is disrupted like a pebble fell on placid water. She had been compared to the likes of Jing Yuan's former friends. The draconic powers of the former Vidyadhara elder is like her own, her nigh-unkillable nature and dangerous anger like that of the Stellaron Hunter, and her status as a great swordsman and reputable warrior who fell from grace like his master. Those are just the surface level similarities. So to think, hypothetical it may be, that Jing Yuan marries someone who is like all three in one. She wouldn't want the consequences of that to befall her friend. Who says she can't show great concern for her friends? She doesn't say it, but she does care for him.
She shields that crack in her immovable veneer with a little jest: ]
But to know our apprentices Chunhua and Yanqing would be bickering more frequently had we chosen to marry, does thrill me.

jing yuan smiles, chuckling. ]
You are correct. It would warm my heart to see.
[ that jing yuan has been nudging yanqing to befriend her is no secret. ]
But you need not worry about my image. My work matters far more than what others think of me.
[ and overall, jing yuan is quite beloved by his people, despite the whispers and the nicknames. ]
no subject
Well pardon me for being concerned for my friend's image.
[ She chuckles, putting her cup down and relaxing from the soothing burn the wine gives her. ]
I guess I can turn things around and ask you the same question. Which of the three options would you pick for me? I'm actually curious.
no subject
[ but living as long as he has, there's no helping the rumors and the lies, jing yuan is at peace with it. with a broad smile, he leans to refill their small cups again. ]
Marry.
no subject
[ She can't tell for sure if he's being cheeky about his answer just mirroring her own, but she also believes him. She leans a little to one side, settling more on her seat while she takes her refilled cup. ]
Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine.
no subject
[ lifting his cup again, jing yuan reclines back in his seat, but does not yet drink. instead he watches her with a steady gaze, humming thoughtfully from deep in his chest. ]
Strong and fearless. You do not give up, despite what you have been through. We get along quite well, and I could easily see myself contentedly enjoying my twilight years beside you. Shall I go on?
no subject
Well don't stop now. Go on...
[ She says in partial jest. She does like hearing praise, but at the same time, she needs to buy time to think of her answer. The fact that Jing Yuan had this much to say about her has caught Jingyi off-guard. She grabs the bottle from him to pour herself a drink that she'll drink like a shot. ]
