Sometimes people say fuck it, I'm tried. But that's okay. People sleep. Sometimes the bed is oh so cozy and you want to snuggle under a blanket and sleep forever. And sometimes you don't care if it's your bed or not. You're going to sleep. Like a boss.

Too bad someone doesn't agree.

Rules
The Poster is the character who is asleep.
The Responder is the one who discovers the sleeper.
Therefore, the Responder must do one of three things

Decide you know this person! (Castmate, previous threader, whatever.)
Go to Random and Roll.

1. Wake them up - You don't care how friendly you are to the person in your bed; they need to get up
2. Happy Awakening - Such a shame they're so deep asleep when you're in the mood. How about a nice wake up call? (if you don't like smut, keep this to cuddles, kisses, hugs, or reroll)
3. Prank! - Oh, this has just got to stop. They need to be punished. But how?
4. Can't beat 'em, Join them - Push 'em over and snuggle up. You're too tired to deal with this craziness right now. Or sleep on your couch.
5. Let them Sleep - Whatever, it's noon. They're asleep and you got things to do. Regard them or disregard them.

Decide you have NO CLUE this person is! (People that haven't threaded with each other before, crossovers, castmates who haven't met.)
Go to Random and Roll.

1. Scream 'OMGWTF GET UP' - While this is probably the default reaction, it's a pretty honest one.
2. Prank! - What a better way for you to remember this moment of meeting than by painting a mustachio on your new 'friend's' face? (Remember, it's your bed. Be wise on what you do.)
3. Gently wake them up - Oh, the poor dears! They must be exhausted but they can't stay here. Be nice, even if it isn't IC for your character. This is what you get for rolling. Shake them up quietly. Or reroll.
4. Get to Know them NON-Biblically - Well, they're asleep. But they left their wallet, important work, or identification out (no matter how OOC it may be)! Let's see who's REALLY sleeping in your bed. (Use your own judgment on what you find. As a suggestion, have the most they find is the sleeper's name and maybe place of work.)
5. Tie 'em up - FUNCTIONAL tying up. Not kinky, no matter what the other party might think. Let them continue their blissful moment of rest. They'll answer questions later and you'll be safe and sound.

Decide - f**k the police. You hear me right. F**k 'em.
You move forward and make your own fate!

Vash fails to mention that when he says something he actually means someone.

There’s no fanfare to it, really. The typhoon rages on—casting hurricanes of apologies as he barges in, as he lovingly blesses her couch with a(n unconscious?) brother-shaped gift, as he leaves with only the briefest reassurance that everything is alright. He is alright.

He is alright.

( Swallowed, swept, spit out. )
Somewhere in there, Haruhi swears she hears his promise of return. Day after tomorrow.

The door closes. Vash is gone. It’s night again in a town that the winds have all but forgotten, but the doctor isn’t alone. It’s silent, though, save for the rough shift of her jeans as she crouches down.

There is no shortage of distance between them, as she scrutinizes Knives’ resting state. She knows who he is—to a far lesser extent, what he is. Moreover, she knows Vash would never just dump his once-genocidal brother at her place if there weren’t a substantive reason to believe that it’s fine.

But still, she struggles to part with the afterimage of a war once waged—no matter how peaceful he looks while he rests.

All of that said, her appraisal is not without due reverence. Bright are the eyes that sweep and sail across his features. ( Bright. Pouring. Reticent. ) There are no outward injuries to speak of. His skin suffuses a crimson cast that suggests telltale signs of illness, but there is no extensive labor in his breath. No sweat beading his brow. The flush, in fact, reminds her more of those who’ve stumbled their way into the clinic after a drink too many. Or perhaps medicine is at play.

His chest rises, falls, rises again; it really is as though he’s just...sleeping. Thoroughly. As Vash said: He is alright.

Her questions have become a mountain. Surmounting. Rebellious; each one claws and fights its way to the summit in a bid for her tongue to ask. To wake him up. She'd have a more definitive conclusion made by now if she would just approach him as she does everyone else.

She doesn’t. She won’t.

Haruhi hangs out on the opposite side of her living room, instead, letting her back slide down the wall until she’s sitting on the floor. There, she pulls her legs to her chest, and awake, she waits.

Until night becomes dawn. Until her hunger begins to eclipse her need for sleep. ]
