I must say, it's a bit of a first. Usually such gateways tend to beeline for the coffin first, but they haven't so much as asked about it yet this time.

As for the coffin, well, that varies by the port as well. Some places aren't sure what it's for, while others are promptly aware. I usually cite that it's a delivery for a client, and that said client would find it culturally offensive to the highest degree if it were opened. I also have some documents that are generally accepted... [that may or may not be forged but hey, that's small beans compared to fabricating an IPC merchant guild's license apparently good enough for the Xianzhou to allow through, so--!!]
Sometimes it has to be run through a scan of some kind anyhow. But, usually, the results are odd enough that they end up waiving it through in the end.
Huh, that's pretty useful for us to know, actually. We wind up having to do this kind of thing a lot. But claiming offense and coming with papers is a pretty convincing move...
