( THE MINOR INJURY MEME )

You or your meme partner has been hurt, but don't worry! This time around it's not that bad. You can still limp your way out of this mess.
INJURIES.
1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?
2. Broken bones. Simple fractures still hurt.
3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.
HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.
WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.
last seen here.

So, Ana had run, and run, and run. Finding a car, she managed to drive south for days--until the gas ran out. Where she was? Ana couldn't recall, but she had to get out of the car and run away from two of those stenches. She came to a collection of trees, and felt an iron grip on her denim jacket as her gun went off, taking out the other stench--the bullet hitting it on the right side of its skull.
The thing behind her wrapped its hands in the material and pulled her down. Ana went to move, but it started to shake her like a rag-doll. She semi turned, and hit the thing in the side of the head with her gun, and the hands wrapped around the gun.
It faltered for a moment, but then began to shake her again. This time it slammed her head first into the tree once, then again. Ana grabbed a hold of the tree with both arms, letting the thing pull back, making her jacket rip hard right down the back. Now that she was semi free, she turned to shoot it in the head, even though around the edges of her sight were white, and little colors were popping hard. It suddenly pulled back again, and went to slam her into the tree once more. Using its weight to descend onto her neck, and try to bite. Ana hit her head again on the wood of the tree, and felt her knees buckle, sliding down the tree a bit with the stench being the only thing holding her up. Her movements pulling it off balance, and making it miss biting her at all. It actually got a hold of the edge of her jacket collar instead.
She was too out of it right now, this thing was about to descend, and Ana was too dazed to actually fight it all the way off. She closed her eyes hard, and prayed for it to be quick.}
{OOC please tell me if I need to add, change, edit, or fix anything here? Thank you!}
Looks good!
As a matter of fact, if they hadn't picked the area clean earlier, he might have been tempted to get the hell out. But he knew there couldn't be more than a few Walkers left hanging around and besides, he had to see who the hell they were after.
Wasn't expecting a pretty little blonde when he got there, but it was incentive enough to not let her get her face chewed off by one of the diseased sons of bitches. Taking a step forward, he grabbed it by the hair with his good hand and stabbed it with the knife attached to the other.]
You get a bite taken outta ya?
[He demanded as he yanked the walker off, tossed it aside.
Hopefully, she was conscious enough to answer his damn question.]

Ana slowly stood, rolling to her feet awkwardly. Those pops of light still playing behind her vision. She blinked a few times, then looked at Merle with a wide set to her eyes. Taking one step, then another, then another, but none of them were even or linear. She finally fell onto her ass on the ground, and looked up to see the man before her. He was really towering over her at the moment. She finally parsed his question, closing her eyes as if to think of what he was asking her? Lifting her hands up over toward head, she felt her face, which had blood streaming down the left side of her face, down over her eye and over her cheek to points lower. She moved her hands over her face, smearing the left in blood from doing so. Then she lifted her hands over her head to her neck, touching the back of her neck delicately. Almost certain that she had to have been bitten, but she couldn't feel anything there.
Looking back up to Merle, Ana lifts her hand not covered in blood up to give him a thumbs up indication. Then her eyes rolled back and she fell backward onto the dirt, and grass below--momentarily stunned.}

Kneeling down, he reached out to give her a shake, trying to see if he could stir her or if she was out and he'd have to carry her some place safer. No way in hell was he gonna hang around here and see if any other Walkers got to them.]
Hey, c'mon. Gotta get up now, tell me what the hell is going on.

The shaking also made her head hurt her as he shook it, causing her to grunt. Her eyes rolled about a bit, as if she was trying to open them, but that didn't happen. She finally just sunk back against the grass and dirt once more.}

But he didn't.
If she had a group, it could be useful information after all and Woodbury wasn't too far from here.
Reason he bent down to scoop her up. Get her back to Woodbury and she was their problem. Maybe they'd get something out of it.]

It had to have been a good ten minutes before she woke with a start. Moaning heavily when she felt how painful her head was feeling right about then. Her eyes went all wonky, and she could feel the edges going black again.}
What's going on? {She murmured, holding her head with one hand. She felt a bit nauseous, but the pain was winning out more than anything else.
Then she realized she was in someone's arms? What the fuck?}
What's going on? {She said in a more urgent voice.} ...who are you?
no subject
Name's Merle. You're lucky, girl, you nearly got turned into food earlier.
no subject
Where am I? {She asked as his arms tightened around her. She fought the urge to kick and scream right then.}
...alright, Merle. I am Ana, and I am a woman. That was you? {She blushed a bit, and told herself to be thankful and the rest she could feel later on.}
Thanks.
no subject
That was me. [He nodded and slowed his steps to shift her in his arms.]
Thank me later. Now you think you can stand?
no subject
Thanks. {She says in a soft voice. Very thankful that he had been there right then and there. Maybe Louis and Micheal were watching over her from wherever they were?}
I'll be honest, I can try. {She said in a pained voice. She really didn;t want to put him out here.}

Maybe if you let me lean against you. I can walk and leave you free to move should you need too.

Okay, the dizziness has passed, but I feel a little weak. I can walk as long as I can hold on. I promise, I won't slow you down if we should need to fight or flee. {She wouldn't let anyone get hurt, or die in her presence or because of her. Even if that means that she would fight and let them take off. She has seen too many good people die and for no good reason. He stopped to help her, but she wouldn't let him get hurt because of that. She was too stubborn like that.}

He looked around.]
There's a place we can make camp up ahead for awhile.
no subject
Okay, that would be kind of good...really good.
no subject
[He moved her slowly, keeping an eye out for any sign of danger. Thankfully, they hadn't run up on any just yet.]
You ain't gonna keel over on me, are ya?

Maybe it was just her time? Everyone else she gave a fuck about was gone. She seemed to still be going, but for how long? How long would the powers that be allow that?}
no subject
Alright, so rest up.
[She wasn't looking so hot right now since he bothered to get a look at her.]
no subject
Thank you, seriously. I didn't think I would even make it this far. {She said in a shaky voice.}
no subject
[He shrugged, watching her quietly for a few moments before taking a seat across from her.]
So you're really alone out here?
no subject
{At his question, she involuntarily stiffened and looked down to her feet. Nodding her head a bit.}
Yep, just me. Used to be about a dozen or so of us, but I watched all of them die one way or another.
