Whether it's a specific person's name or particular words/actions (calling her a good girl, touching his neck, kissing their forehead), there's no difference in the end. They're exposed either way.
[2] All that matters is everyone can see it.

[For him, headpats were the easiest way for him to show his affection for someone! Though he doesn't know how much of an affect it might have on people... That said, Van also occasionally suffers a case of DPD (Dense Protagonist Disorder™).
