What am I doing? Oh, nothing. Not a single thing. I’m certainly not rifling through a bunch of photos in my pocket-

[1] Someone strapped a sign on your character that tells the whole wide world what they're weak for, what gets them biting their lip, blushing, weak at the knees, all that. Whether it's a specific person's name or particular words/actions (calling her a good girl, touching his neck, kissing their forehead), there's no difference in the end. They're exposed either way.
[2] All that matters is everyone can see it.
[3] That's it.

Once or twice. I learned that sometimes growing together can mean growing apart.

I've had my doubts as to whether such a person even exists. Or maybe I just haven't found mine.

They exist for every person. We all have our fates; the roles we must play.

I always believed I make my own fate. Some have told me I'm pretty stubborn about it, actually.

The Valar are stubborn too, yet there have been those who forge their own path forward. It isn't easy.

It can a more difficult path, for sure. I've found it rewarding.

Sometimes I can see the value in following a calling, particularly for the greater good.

You should never lose sight of that, no matter what path you take. The greater good is what keeps the darkness at bay.

Of course. I wouldn't want to find myself in a situation where there's something I could do to help, but I don't act. It's... kind of a responsibility to do so, you know?
