[ There is a pause as he considers this. Typically, he does not let people touch him but she is only asking to touch his fur — nowhere improper, like his tail for instance. So, after a moment's consideration, he offers her his arm for her to touch. ]

Thank you for asking first.

[ She will be able to see that his fur is perfectly smooth and silky and soft to the touch. He takes care of it very well. ]

[Sae can not stop the happy squeak that leaves her and even then she is not even remotely embarrassed about it. She scoots closer, eyes wide and eager. She lets out a chirp (bird-like in nature) in thanks as she reaches forward to smooth her hand over his arm. The fur is soft beneath her touch and she gurgles out another happy sound at the feeling.]

Oooh.. [She giggles in delight, fingernails scratching over the surface softly, gently. Sae was effectively petting him, more or less.]

[ In turn, Lycaon will let Sae continue to pet his arm until she has her fill. His tail does wag, just a little bit, at her enjoyment of such a simple gesture but otherwise he remains as stoic as always. People do always enjoy a wolf's fur, after all. ]

[Her eyes immediately hone in on that wagging tail, eyes brightening a little in delight.] ..Warm! Soft. [It's the first word she utters in his presence without the use of her phone, her voice soft and chirpy but still hoarse from lack of use. She beams at the canine, letting her hand stroke over his arm, content at the feeling of it. Her eyes momentarily flicker to his ears, the wings underneath her jacket giving a curious rustle.]

[ He gives a small smile, pleased at her assessment of his fur. Warm and soft. That's as high praise as any.

But he does not miss the way his eyes flicker to his ears and he considers. Ears and tails are an intimate part of a thiren's body. To let a stranger touch it just is not done. Only close friends and intimate partners are allowed.

Still, he does not want to be rude. ]

May I inquire after your name, my lady?

[It is with great reluctance that she pulls her hand away so she can fiddle with her phone and answer the tall canine man right away. If she had it her way she would be petting him for a long, long time. He was nice enough to let her touch his fur, which is something she was happy about.] My name is Sae! It's nice to meet you.

[One hand fiddles with some loose strands of hair that she tucks behind her ears, red eyes peering up at him curiously.] ..Are you a wolf of some kind?

[ He'll wait for her to type out what she wants to say, listening to the text to speech voice to come aloud and share her thoughts. Then he's nodding, to first answer her question. ]

I am a wolf thiren, yes. [ Ah, she might not know what a thiren is. ] A thiren is something like an... animal humanoid? Some looks like humans with animal features, some look more like me.

[ But then right — introductions. ]

As for my name, it is Von Lycaon. You may call me Lycaon.

[ And he will follow this with a polite, sweeping bow in turn. ]

..Thiren? Huh. that's the first time I've heard of something like that. [He mentions animal features and the tiny wings hidden underneath her jacket rustle thoughtfully. If he saw the appendages.. would he mistake her for a thiren as well? It was curious to think about..] Sounds interesting though!

[She sends the wolf man a wide smile, head tilted to the side. The sweeping bow has her letting out a faint laugh, eyes twinkling. What a gentleman! or would it be gentlewolf?] Lycaon.. Thank you for letting me touch your fur. It felt very nice.

[ He would absolutely consider her a Thiren if he did not know better, after seeing her wings. She is correct.

But when he stands up straight once again, he gives a nod of acknowledgement to her words. ]

You are very kind. I would be more than happy to let you touch my fur again in the future, as long as you ask. If I am unable to let you do so, I am more than capable of declining. I have had... poor experiences with people insisting on touching me without permission before, so I appreciate your courtesy.
